This can happen when some colours/sizes were discounted in the sale and others were not. I suspect that the reduced colours/sizes have all sold out.

Is managers reduction where the price label says 'last chance to buy' or is that just final reductions?

In our local store 'Last chance to buy' usually means last items of stock in those ranges, but normally no reduction in price.

Well I'm absolutely livid with M & S. I ordered a few things online in the early hours of the 18th (3.30am). I paid for home delivery because I live out in the sticks and my local store is miles away. I had an email this morning to say two of my items were not available and had been cancelled. Then I had two more emails, each stating that further items were not available. I now only have one item that cost £4 left and its not worth paying for delivery.

I know that during sales its sometimes difficult for stores to keep track of stock (though I really think they should sort it) but to have most of my order cancelled because they can't fulfill the order is just disgraceful IMO. I was thrilled with my bargains, all of which were baby clothes for my grandaughter. Now I have nothing, and I've missed the chance, over the weekend, to go to a store and look for bargains. I really don't believe that there can have been many people online at the same time as me buying the same things. I was quite quick with my order, I knew what I wanted and the things were clearly in my basket. I wasn't dithering choosing things. Im so disappointed I will never order online from M & S again.

That's how I feel about Homebase, there's only so much messing about one can put up with.

Sad to say this is a regular thing for those of us who have been buying from M&S sales over the past few years.

At risk of repeating myself (sorry to those who've seen my previous emails on this), I never bank on receiving anything I order. It's always best for me to assume I won't get it and if it arrives, then it's a bonus.

I've had so many orders cancelled on me.

M&S signed a long contract a while back with Amazon to manage their website. I understand the current management are unhappy with the service Amazon provide and are busy planning for the time when the contract expires.

When I put sale items high- low I look at where it falls in the list , if it falls beside others @ 6 I know there is one for 6 in there! Hope that helps!

Just out of the belfast city centre store and there are no manager reductions. Will be popping in at lunch time and will report any changes.
