Thanks Tamalyn you have been so great, and have you noticed how many likes they have lost already? There were 12,000 + before - how much damage is this person doing to that company....the mind boggles

If this person is just the administrator of the page I wonder what the md would make of the damage being caused.....but no response to my email direct to company either

Good luck I really hope you get your ipad and the other winner also gets her prize. Have been and posted a comment in support on both yours and the other winners posts. It would also be worth taking screengrabs of all comments in case they decide to delete their comments or the threads.

Oh thank you EnglishWelshie The screengrab thing is a great idea, as I think they have already deleted the comment mentioned above when they said bye to someone who said they were unliking I don't know how to do it though can anyone help?

I think taking a screen grab of the comments is a great idea. Apart from that, I should leave it to the IPM now. Now that you've contacted them, it's probably best to give them a chance to try and sort it, without doing anything else. Still crossing fingers for you

Thanks Blulu you are right, I will leave it to the IPM. I didn't intend commenting again but they did, and I didn't like the tone of their message towards me yet again so felt I had to respond.

If anyone could tell me how to screengrab that would be a great help

Have taken screengrabs just after i commented of all that were there. Have also been doing a bit of snooping on their website. Through clicking on their get a quote link i spotted at the bottom provided by quotezone.co.uk and when looking on their website there is a link to become an affiliate and earn commission which i think the Monkey person or persons are doing. I couldn't find anything on their website to contact them except by message. Also they say they have donated £10,000 so far so surely they should have a registered charity number shouldn't they.
I agree too that it would probably be better left to the IPM now.

Thanks for that x I had a good look around too after sending them a message the day I found out about my win. I didn't notice the affiliate part but that's not good news. I doubt very much myself or Wendy will ever see our winnings, I can only hope that now the IPM are involved they will at least stop this person from doing this to anyone else.

I am the other MSE "winner" in this competition. I won the copy of Call of Duty Black Ops on 17th December and sent a message from my HTC the same afternoon. So, in that case, I did follow the procedure. However, I did fail to double check on Monkey's website that they had confirmed receipt of my message, so then come out the loser I have tried direct messaging them from FB and I posted on their wall. Both times I was polite and just requested confirmation of whether I had lost out on my prize as I had replied in time. They couldn't even be bothered to reply to me, hence my grumble. I am now going to follow Abbie's lead and contact IBM to add my complaint to hers - and will certainly not use Monkey again!

It's the bit at the bottom of their quote page that makes me suspicious that they are just an affiliate of quotezone as the t&c's also lead to there. To me they look to be paid commission on people taking out insurance by getting a quote from going through their site a sort of middle man i suppose which could be why they sound as if there is only the one person and rather immature from reading their FB comments. I could be wrong of course and it is just my suspicions of them.
