And couponmad has clearly stated what you have to do and the time limits, with all due respect either listen to her and the other members or ignore and do your own thing.

Cm and many more of us regulars on here have all appealed council tickets and won the appeal - so we do know what we are talking about.
Look, i do appreciate the help, but when it states in black & white the situation from the people themselves, what am i supposed to do?

As said, the rear of the ticket says one thing (the 14 days may be extended, but also it may not). The website (which only today have i seen the relevant part) says something totally different - that the 14 days WILL be put on hold, which is what you guys are telling me.

As said, i do appreciate the advice, but ATEOTD it's no substitute for reading it for yourself. Put yourself in MY shoes - people you don't know are giving you advice, but what's to say they are right (or) wrong?? There are financial advisors on this board who state people are not to act on their replies as advice to their case. So in this case, the person really should see it in black & white (the website link) stating that the 14 days will be preserved. The rear of the ticket suggests otherwise.

So misunderstand me if you will, but i was never ignoring you (or anyone). I just wanted to see it in black & white for myself. Confirmation if you will.

I know, I know. But I have seen PCNs like this before on pepipoo and they ALWAYS re-offer the discount if you challenge in time, which you did. They'd be mad in a 'disabled badge' case to refuse to at least re-offer the discount.

The way they word the PCN is naughty - deliberately to catch waverers like you I suspect - and I just didn't want you to fall for the Council's bluff and just pay.
As said just a minute ago - i was never ignoring the advice. I took it all on board (i appealed didn't i). I just needed to see (from their end) the black & white of it all. The rear of the PCN seems to give a totally different picture to their own website. Thankfully i was pointed in the right direction on their site.

I suspect they'll refuse the appeal, but we'll see. I'll update you when they let me know.

The Council want your money. I really wouldn't take anything they say as black and white.

There are people on here and pepipoo who deal with council tickets all the time. I would sooner trust their judgement, than something the council tells, as like I said above, the council want your money.
