    Big pot of 'scouse' in mine at the moment - will put some herby dumplings in later about 45mins before serving :drool:.

  • i have diced chicken in mine today with carrots, potatoes, onions, mushrooms with a tomato type sauce!!! it looks nice i just hope it tastes nice!!! going to serve it with some rice and crusty rolls.

    sorry to have to ask again, but dont wont to poison the family!!!!!!
    my pork etc has been cookinh on low since 10.30 this morning, the pork is swimming (basicly covered in juice), is this ok or should i empty lots of the juice??????

    please help!!!!!

    i've got a sausage casserole in mine. going to have it with mash. was going to make some dumplins but forgot to buy the suet,lol.

    lol i thought i had a sachet of somerset pork casserole mix
    any how its diced beef , onion , carrot , parsnip , butternut squash ,yellow pepper , touch of garlic pepper , thyme and a sachet of maderia wine gravy with a bit of passta and some home grown toms in , on low

    I have in mine butternut squash cubed, carrot, onion, red pepper, can of coconut milk, stock, cumin, corriander, chilli and gram masala.

    Smelled nice when i switched it on so will have to wait and see.

    I didnt cover mine, i put 500ml of cider in my slow cooker, but I think my slow cooker is massive. I think if your using apple juice, which could be sweeter, as I had dry cider, you might want to water it down a bit! (i just got to the computer)
