I had some beef (oopsie from co-op) just sat on some carrots and then added onion and stock and also cloves and star anise.

The beef was tasty and moist. yum
  • We are having Sausage Cassarole.

Good quality 95% meat sausages (2 for £4 Sainsburys ATM), then added will be mixed peppers, onion, mushrooms & peas. I use the Lidl mix (21p) which has all the gorgeous herbs and thickening agents and is devine.

This will do 4 HUGE portions with a baked spud, so a spare for tomorrow or the freezer as it freezes well.

Do you use your Remoska much, and are they worth the initial outlay? I've just had to google, as I'd never heard of. They look like a cool gadget.

i went to my local lakeland store the people there are very helpful, i feeli ve used it virtually every day since bought and im cooking my sausages in there right now,, lol

like i said only put the oven on once in nearly 4 weeks so im happy

done chicken, pork chops, bacon, and ive done a lovely omelete and also a toad in the hole,

very healthy too, ive bought a rack so it bring s food nearer the top of the lid as thats where the heating element is

It does look good, but I will stick with my slow cooker (and steamer) for easy meals for now. I probably wouldn't use it after the initial novelty had worn off. I've got rid of so many gadgets that were gathering dust in the past!

Flavour and texture of chicken excellent but where did all the liquid come from again? Just the sauce & veg used. Prefer crunchy veg though so may not do it this way again.
