Iam very new to slow cooking, did beef stew last week and it was fantastic. So tomorrow I plan on this:

3 pork loin chops, half red pepper, 1 onion, some mushrooms, carrots with a bit a chicken stock, salt n pepper.

Will thicken later on - my question is, Do you think this will be tasty or a bit bland? And should I maybe dice the pork?

    Thanks. xx :D

In my experience it wont make any difference whether you dice it or not, cos when its cooked it will fall apart anyway!

Just off to put a chocolate fudge pudding in mine (or maybe a Lemon Sauce sponge - got no lemon juice though, so may sibstitute Hi Juice Orange - watch this space)

It depends really on whether you want to eat the chops whole or chopped up into pieces (like a casserole). Either is fine.

Everybody differs with the amount of seasoning they put in, again a personal choice. Yours sounds fine. Just try it and see, then next time if you want to add or take away something you can. Always works for me. ;)
