My slow cooker is a crock pot type one, and when I make chilli, bolognaise or curry in it, I get little burnt-on patches of food in two corners of the pot that's impossible to get off. (Funnily, it doesn't happen with casseroles or joints of meat - random.)
Anyway, I've put it through the dishwasher, left it to soak in a variety of substances - and it doesn't come off. So I was thinking of putting a squirt of stardrops and some water in it, then putting it on to slow cook on high for a couple of hours (same kind of theory as putting a bowl of water in a microwave to cook to steam the microwave).
I know it's a very small possibility, but I don't suppose anyone else has tried this? Do you think it would be ok?0 -
