    Nope :(

Now flatmate is telling me I have to pay for an engineer and won't shut up.

I'm gonna be the one set on the builders tomorrow now and i'm being told to buy a freeview box for the short term.

As mentioned above it's probably the dish out of alignment or something is obstructing its path. If the cause is the builders then they are responsible for putting things right, they must be insured for such eventualties.

Have looked outside and can't see any differences.

I don't know what I am looking for mind. Dish is very firmly in place.

Just strange how a few channels were working this morning, and now they aren't. Flatmate went bed at 4am and was fine then. Builders were here at 8am and at around 10am, switched TV on and some channels were working, some not, so turned off. By 11.30-12......all had gone.

Sky say my payment went through okay.

How come you're getting it in the neck? Tell her to buy a Freeview box herself :p

I lost several channels whilst I had scaffolding around dish, and they were all back once scaffolding removed - I only lost channels at higher end of range though

It's called a huge reliance on me to get everything done, financially, housework and anything that goes wrong whilst she sits on her fat a$s and watches TV.

Thing is, I was kinda looking forward to the cricket semi finals today and now i'm annoyed!

What puzzles me, is the scaffolding has been up for over 2 weeks - Thursday before Easter, so nearly 3 weeks.

Only today has there been a problem, but they were around the dish today, so some blighter has likely knocked it and kept it hush.

No way will they admit to that

She is 'just' a flatmate. :p

I have a girlfriend who lives with me when she's not working away and my flatmate is her sister who needed somewhere to go because she never paid her rent on time, and my girlfriend wanted me to let her stay. Rent free mind

    She's okay, just bloody lazy!

Tell her that you've had a big argument with Sky and that you've cancelled on principle.

She'd hand me back the phone and tell me to grovel back to Sky.

I'm off to get a freeview box. We already have one, but missing a lead or two

Anyway, back to the other problem, can't you just buy the missing cables, rather than a new Freeview box?
