I'm really interested in having a Sun holiday this year but what i'm reading on here and elsewhere i'm not likely to get one as i've never done it before?. Also i'd like 7 nights away as travelling to Cornwall or up north would be pointless for 4 nights, is there anyway of doing that?. Is there a list of parks out yet or do they come out on Saturday too?.
Sorry for all the questions! first timer alert.......0 -

Don't worry....I thought about doing sun hols for a while before I took the plunge.....now I love them.
Found all the info I needed from this forum right here. My research found to try to get a priority code or buy 1 from eBay then you could start looking around on the site for what you wanted.
. Keep an eye out constantly here for hips tips and info even typing in key words of interest in the search box. Also they have people who will kindly post the daily words so u don't even need to buy the paper. Good luck......0 -

I assume this is for a list of the pass words in case we miss any? Great idea, many thanks.0 -
Thanks for your replies, I'll have a good look through the website tonight.0

They do, but they go very quickly. Devon Cliffs is the flagship park for Haven, its huge, there is a lot there & its right on the beach. But note its is all hills & some very steep, not good for anyone with mobility problems.
Hi! Exmouth is a good one to visit - they have a great pool and a spa for the adults! If you do choose this one let me know and I can tell you all the best places to visit in the area as I'm local x0 -
Can anyone recommend a good place to go with older children (11 and 13)?
Also do the Europe holidays work out expensive - we live in Exmouth so would probably catch a Plymouth ferry if there is one x0 -
Can anyone recommend a good holiday park in Cornwall, please? Site facilities and beaches aren't important, so long as it's clean and comfortable. We just want peace and quiet for a relaxing break. After being sited near a noisy club/disco on a previous SUN holiday, (and having to listen to drunks vomitting outside the caravan) this time we'd like one with NO entertainment on site! Thank you in anticipation.
Hi Jools - we have been to Hendra in Newquay loads of times with friends - lots to do nearby and a fantastic pool (though they do charge extra!) x0 -
I've just posted on the other Sun £9.50 thread (confusing!) asking if anyone knows of any south west holiday parks that might be open for early bookings in the Feb weekend dates - February 8, 15, 22? Ta.0

if you go in school holidays they work out way cheaper than booking direct !
we have done Brittany for May half term the past 2 years ( and hopefully again this year )
Plymouth - Roscoff ferry . The SUN email you a link to discounted Brittany ferry fares, and you save another few hundred quid
we have also been to a few other French sites and driven via the Eurotunnel ( using tesco clubcard deals)0
