I think I read somewhere that the website would be open Sunday 13th Jan which means that it will probably be open on the Saturday night. That works out about right I think. One code in the post, Saturday to Saturday gives another 8 and then the guesswork for the final Sunday code gives 10 codes, although they may offer a few doubles along the way anyway??0

Mr Doovde - do you remember last time we were all set to crack the code until someone told us what the last word was going to be? If I recall it was because the list of words were ones previously used a few years ago. Might be worth us checking from previous years once we have collected a few words.
Umm, as I remember it, last year the code was cracked normally at about 5pm in the afternoon possibly by someone using the excel spreadsheet checker. Normally they don't put the last word on the system until just before the office closes the day before the word is released in the paper, so you can't start to crack it until then.Joovce, Joovce you want me to spell, it's a J, V, C.0 -
Just had a look and found the thread from last year, someone posted that the booking site went live at 3:39pm and the code word was cracked and posted by 3:57pm
Here is a link to the page on the thread where the word was posted (ahh memories!)

I agree, we should see the booking site open early on Saturday afternoon/evening ready for the paper to come out on the Sunday. Lets hope we have a cracking Saturday :rotfl:Joovce, Joovce you want me to spell, it's a J, V, C.0 -
Hi guys!
A small question here - I didn't book the first time around last year. After checking online banking I see that it was 9th July that I booked - I remember doing it online the day it opened. After receiving a booklet in the post this week, I've noticed there are no half term dates at all (I'm in Wales) - was this the case last year? As when I booked it in July we managed to get October half term at Brean Sands. Just wondering what the chances are that they'll add more dates really? Thanks in advance xxThanks to all posters :A0 -

Aren't the Half term Dates considered Peak so you have to pay £15 not £9.50. Thats what it seems to say here http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fun/competitions/promotions/holidays/article4384954.eceJoovce, Joovce you want me to spell, it's a J, V, C.0 -
I have been lucky enough to get a Sun Holiday for the last few years with last year getting a week in Spain last week in April. I have to say it was amazing and my ds keeps asking can we go back. This year I wanted to go in June, has anyone booked a week in Europe through this deal at this time of year?0

I'm BAAAAAAAAACK!!!!! *Waves priority booking form in the air* Woo Hooooo! my favourite thread!!! Looking forward to a week of laughs, giggles and a few tears (remember 'ROCK'gate???...ha ha ha ha), Newbies getting slated for 'trying their luck', Park reccommendations, Parks to avoid, of course the grand finale of the alphabet guessing game to guess the all important 'last code'. Good luck to all and hope you get the holiday you wish for
xx

We didn't last year - paid £9.50 and had October half term. I prefer Brean sands because it's the easiest to get to from us and one of the ones that you don't have to pay extra for the passes and service charge. I'm on my way out now but when I get home I'll have another look through the book.
Thanks anyway xThanks to all posters :A0 -

Thanks for this. I had a 6am reminder on my phone for the Sunday for me to check MSE for the code. Have now changed it to 3pm on Sat 12th. <spot the newbie>0
