Thanks for the info Rachie B, I'm not as wary of booking abroad now
. I guess I just thought a tent would be quite basic, I've never done that kind of camping before, lol. Which of the Paris parks did you prefer? x

Have been on the sun holidays for the previous two years, this year our daughter will be three so we are thinking of going to Paris to visit Disneyland. Can anyone recommend any good parks near Disneyland and a good time to go,me are really flexible on time.
Then later in the year we are going to try and go to Italy Lake Garda. Do you need car hire at both places or can you get by on public transport and is it easy to get flights over or does this add the cost up to the same as if you booked it direct without the sun holidays?
Thanks all0 -

Hi. We stayed at le chene gris in october. We didn't go to disney, but used the site as a base for exploring paris ect..
Although we took the car we only used it for going to the supermarket, as there is a train station in the actual site, and a direct train in to paris, every half hour or so. You could
then get a train from paris to disney.
I know a lot of people use this site as a base for visiting DLP. You definitley dont need a car.
The other two paris sites are on my shortlist as well as the dutch ones for next october.0 -
why don't you want to drive ? French roads eg are much better than ours
we loved Le Ranolien in Brittany ,went to Les Mouettes in Brittany last yr which was only 20 mins drive from Roscoff !
Hoping to get Les Menhirs in Carnac ,Brittany this year
alternatively what about one of the sites in Italy ?
you can fly and use public transport
Lake Garda is stunning ,we flew and then got a transfer. Didn't need a car, instead walked along the lakeside or used the ferry to visit other areas of the lake
we stayed @ Cisano / San Vito
also one of the Spanish sites ?
just book your own cheapy flight
Thanks RachieB for the reply. Don't really have a proper answer for not wanting to drive abroad, i just don't and as i'm going with my mum and i know she won't want to do any of the driving it'd be a lot to do on my own, also the UK holidays that we've done we always drive about so much that this year i'd like a more relaxed holiday.
I've been looking and found a couple of options in the Languedoc region, also maybe costa brava/dorada where there are some reasonably priced flights.
