plus the week i wanted at easter isnt there

Yes they do - loads of people on the Daily Mail thread have gotten Butlins for the Easter school holidays for just £10 per person.

  • ive booked butlins through daily mail yesterday for the first time, as i'm normally booking with the sun. the easter dates all went yesterday i think - but have a look.

does the sun have so many holidays to sell, and same for daily mail? otherwise wont they all go to the daily mail customers as it went on sale first?

    How does it work?

I have just booked a holiday I wanted at a site Cornwall on Monday 27th May for 4 nights through the Daily Mail promotion. It cost £10 per person instead of the £9.50 through the Sun, I checked their costs for services charge and entertainment passes and it is more or less the same as the Sun charges.

The website opened today and you can book even if you haven't had one of their holidays before.

the seven passwords you need are:

    BREAK
    DANCE
    BALL
    SEAGULL
    CANDY
    PIER
    WALK

They seem to have all the same sites as The Sun and they offer Easter dates (The Sun don't).

Worth looking at if you know the dates and park you want.

We went to Villanova for October 1/2 term 2012 with the Sun. One outdoor pool was closed, one open (but too cold for all but the most hardy) all other facilities - golf, indoor pool, sports courts etc were open. Although many people seem to do airport transfer, car hire was cheap and gave flexibility for getting to beaches, days out in Barcelona etc

Thanks:) This may be is back on our shortlist now, but not sure if it's doable in terms of how much we want to spend!
Flights are going to cost around £250, and then there's transfers/ car hire to pay for. This will bump up the cost a fair bit. As much as i'm tempted, we may have to leave it till next year, as this is not our main hol of the year. Our october sun hol is usually a cheap week. We may go to france again or holland as this way we can pay for the ferry/tunnell using tesco deals.
Thanks for the info about the site though. Really useful to know. It's definitely one i want to go to, so will seriously consider it for next year.
Having said all that, i may well change my mind on saturday when the booking site opens and see if it's available. I think i'd really like it not to be:rotfl:

Thanks for that, we have looked at parks 301,302,303 & 304 for lake Garda.

Will have a look at the park you suggest for Disneyland. Is there any parks that are closer, I have looked but can't seem to get my head around locations! How did you get to France flight or ferry - ideally I would like to get a flight instead of taking the car as we are in Cornwall we are quite far away from the ferry ports!
Le Chene Gris is closer, just 10 mins drive to Disney

we always drive ,usually via Eurotunnel ( using tesco clubcard deals) we drive from South Wales, stay overnight in a hotel near the tunnel and then get a morning crossing :)

Bella Italia is a huge site
depends what you want / are looking for

have a look @ reviews on trip advisor annd www.ukcampsite.co.uk ( not just UK reviews ha !)

We are hoping to be first time Sun holiday abroad people, have holidayed in the UK for three years now but feel that I want to venture abroad! I can't seem to find the Cisano / San Vito parks do you know what number they are? Who did you use to book your flights with? Is the airport far from the parks and can you arrange a transfer when you book a flight or just get a taxi when you land? sorry for the questions you can tell this is my first time :rotfl:

oh just seen it's not available for this promo ( when i went in 2010 ,didnt book with the SUN but got a fab deals with select camp)

we booked a private transfer,i found it on google then checked out reviews / asked on trip advisor !

flights were with Bristish Airways ( BIL gets a discount!)

think the transfer time was about 40 mins ?
