I think I must be one of the lucky ones. After only reporting my missing points on Saturday they have turned up in my clubcard account this morning (although I think they have refunded more points than were stolen).
I did all my correspondence via email so I had a record and also posted about it on their Facebook page. I've always had good experiences with their Facebook team so it might be worth doing it that way even if you have to join Facebook just for this purpose.0 -
Dear Customer,
Helping you stay safe online this Christmas
As the festive season draws closer, most of us are busy preparing for the big day. Also for many of us a lot of this preparation involves spending time online - whether it's shopping for the perfect gift or ordering our festive food and drink.
We want you to stay safe online this Christmas, so here's a few tips to help you do so.
Pick a strong Password
An ideal password is long and has letters, punctuation, symbols, and numbers. Avoid using the same password/email address combination for multiple websites and never use your personal email account password for other websites.
Look out for Phishing Emails
These are emails that may look legitimate and appear to be from Tesco or your bank, but they will usually ask you for personal information like passwords or your Clubcard number, things that Tesco and other genuine companies would never ask you for in an email.
Keeping your contact details up to date
If you change your details on your Clubcard account we will email you to confirm.
More advice on how to stay safe online can be found under the FAQ's section of the Clubcard website or click here. Alternatively if you have any questions or concerns about your Clubcard account please contact us on 0800 59 16 88 or visit the contact us page on Tesco.com.

Anyone else get this email from Clubcard today?
I was particularly interested to read the bit in bold, shame they didn't do that a year ago, and I'm not 100% sure it's even happening every time now as we're still getting new cases reported here.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I had £140 pounds worth of vouchers stolen. Then used in North London. I was promised a refund on the next Voucher mailout but when it arrived nothing was on it. I checked back with them and a very helpful lady worked through the list and realised that only the first voucher had been refunded. They've now refunded the lot and have said if there's something I want to order for Christmas I can call them and they'll manually convert the points to vouchers. Slow but thanks to that helpful officer I've got there in the end!
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
Hubby logged onto our linked cards account yesterday, where we saw that £80.50 vouchers had gone and had been used in the NORTHAMPTON SOUTH EXT store - obviously nobody in the store checked to see if a matching clubcard was given, as we live in South Wales!
Anyway I phoned customer services straightaway and got through to Catherine, who was outstanding, and personally apologised to me! If only all CS people were this good.
My points are to be refunded onto the next mailing, but if I specifically wanted anything before Christmas, I was to let her know and she would electronically do something and I would get the item.June 2009 - Wii; December 2009 - Fortnum & Mason Hamper; 2009 - Little Red Tractor DVD; How to afford time off work book; April 2010 - Mamas & Papas Pram; May 2010 - Imperial Leather Goodies; Jan 2011 - Trivial Pursuit cards; Narnia goodies; VTech cot mobile (stopped comping!) Reading through the last couple of pages, I find it very interesting that the stolen vouchers have been used all over the place, rather than them being concentrated in one particular place.
Does this mean there is more than one set of hackers?June 2009 - Wii; December 2009 - Fortnum & Mason Hamper; 2009 - Little Red Tractor DVD; How to afford time off work book; April 2010 - Mamas & Papas Pram; May 2010 - Imperial Leather Goodies; Jan 2011 - Trivial Pursuit cards; Narnia goodies; VTech cot mobile (stopped comping!) I am now 3 months into chasing this up. I've made 6 phone calls where promises were made to return the points in November, then when this didn't happen I kept being promised they'd be on in 48 hours... Never happened.
I've then used their email link because I was sick of explaining the situation over the phone. 3 times how they've promised a £110 money card would be with me in 7-10 days but it never happens. They just lie. I'm 11 days from Christmas and was saving my points all year for Christmas presents. It's not good enough, it's just lie after lie with them. I'm in real danger of not being able to afford to finish my Christmas shopping now. Absolutely fuming with them.Claimed: RBS Charges £1949.92 + £673.63 interest, Total £2623.55. Not yet, currently in conversation with their twitter team. If they don't sort it out via a local store then I'll go to the ceo's office. I've never known service quite like this.Claimed: RBS Charges £1949.92 + £673.63 interest, Total £2623.55. A&L PPI £461.69 + £115.50, Total £577.19
