I too will be all ready for the rugby showdown tomorrow - half the cleaning done, so tomorrow will be finishing fabbing the house up, fabbing me up with a face mask and so on then I WILL read some uni papers all before it starts then be welded to the sofa wathing all 3 matches.
Not much else to report apart from a long week at work this week, some uni work done and no exercise due to resting foot. I will get back to it this weekend as it seems ok nowfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well even though I haven't posted daily on MFP I have tried a bit this week and have managed to lose 1lb :j It seems like ages since I lost anything at all so I'm very pleased.
I will continue to be good but not fanatical (as I can get a bit obsessive sometimes) and do some exercise.
Off swimming this morning before settling down to watch all of the day's rugby - come on Wales!0 -
Hello All, not posted for a while feeling bit ill & out of sorts this week not sure what's wrong. Managed to drag myself to 2 gym classes & maybe another today but see how I feel.
I'll be watching the rugby, though being English but living in Wales my loyalties are divided!

Strangely being Welsh and living in England my loyalties are firmly with the red team!! It is a big ask but I'm hoping. Cymru am Byth!!
Sorry to hear you're not feeling brilliant Eh. I've been unwell since December on and off and (although doctor says I'm better) I'm still not feeling myself really. It really is wearing. I have huge sympathy for those of you with on-going medical problems.
The only fabbing I've managed today so far is to take off some old nail polish. My nails are in really good condition at the moment. I'll give them a decent manicure later before polishing again.
I've decided that some of my 'dress down' clothes are looking a bit down and out!:rotfl:I've got one pair of newish jeans (Wallis on ww's recommendation) but others are either too old or don't fit properly. They're ok for pottering around the house but decidedly scruffy for going anywhere. Same is true of casual shoes and some cardis looking a bit bobbly. What I need to do is have a close look at stuff and be a bit ruthless and then replace. I find if I start looking like a bag lady it really affects my state of mind.
:Ton the weight loss ww andsorry to hear your foot is still playing up sparkles.
Have a good day all:).0 -

Me too! I've been in Manchester for over 15 years now but am definitely still very Welsh - still have the accent that the kids in school think is hilarious sometimes. When I'm tired or annoyed its as strong as ever - think a cross between Gavin and Stacey and Stella! Proper South Wales.:D
Oh, and glad you liked the Wallis jeans Maman. They suit my shape, Next ones are OK too.
Had a really busy morning and its the first time I've sat down - walked the dog twice, done a mile in the swimming pool, been to Sainsburys and the library and scrubbed the whole house from top to bottom - its that really nice freshly cleaned smell now - won't last with mucky paws but at least I know its done for now.
Just settling down for the rugby - would love Italy to win the first match and Scotland to beat the French but the main match is the biggie.0 -
I have finished all my cleaning including the floor mopping now the sun has poked his head out, just waiting for it to dry while watching Ireland start to fall apart playing Italy, then I'll be zooming out with mr dog for his walk before the big game starts. C'mon England from me!
Windows are open to let some fresh air in for a change and freshen the place up some more.
All shopping done with incuding the bargain Easter Egg bought on offer for £2 in Mr S. Collected my sale order and have 2 lovely tied short sleeve shirts for the warmer weather which I expect to get a lot of wear out of - £6 each in the sale from £12.50 each. Also a lovely sleeveless white top with green and blue embroidery down the side which matches perfectly my slim cropped trousers from last year to make a nice outfit.
Sorted some clothes out and popped some larger size ones into the charity pile as I've maintained my size now for 12mths I believe its time for them to go.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Thanks Maman, thought i was better went to gym class didn't have much energy, had lunch and been rather ill following lunch. It's not a bug more like something not agreeing me but has happened quite a lot since xmas. Time for Dr's I think and I'm quite emotional too properly because I'm feeling so rubbish.
Will settle down for a quite afternoon with a book & rugby.

Hello Ladies
EH - hope you feel better soon.
Maman - I know what you mean about dress down clothing looking a bit tired. I am definitely due a shopping trip. I need some new "old clothes" - my current crop of "at home" wear is only really fit for painting and decorating in now;) Time to smarten up for Spring.
Whilst you ladies were drooling over big fit Rugby Players I watched "Skyfall" with OH - until he fell asleep bless him - part 2 will have to be continued on my next visit.
I have to say I don't care much for Daniel Craig - Brosnan is my favourite Bond.
I got a bit bored with watching Craig preening and poncing around and got sidetracked looking at "M's" wardrobe. Judi Dench is famously small and dumpy and, aged 78, she is no spring chicken.
However I thought her outfits were fabulous. Really classy and elegant. The crisp tailoring made her look taller and slimmer and she just looked great. The wardrobe people did a terrific job there. The suits and jackets were right up my street.
Craig's suits are always cut just a little too tight. I take it that is done deliberately so that we ladies can swoon over his rippling muscles.:rotfl::rotfl:
The man seems to love taking his shirt off at every opportunity.:D
We also got to see "M's" flat - very nice. I need to pinch a few decorating ideas there.
I had already decided that if I buy a flat then I will be giving it the "Bond" treatment. Well - if I'm going to be a sophisticated urbanite this time round then I'd better go the whole hog.....
Anyway DS2 has just walked in - time for dinner.
A manicure too for me tonight.0 -
Had great plans for this weekend but the snow today has slowed things down a bit. Had a bit of a headache over the past few days so just chilling tonight after taking a couple of nurofen. Off to do a face cleanse and moisturise shortly.0

Morning! Woke up at 6am with no hope of going back to sleep - its Sunday!
Never mind, I have a lot to do today so I suppose its not such a bad thing.
My parents and sister are arriving tomorrow - they're flying off on hols to Tenerife on Tuesday for a week and have booked from Manchester so they can leave their dog with me whilst they are away. Hence the mega clean yesterday.
I don't know why I bother because its like a bomb's dropped 5 mins after they've arrived - at least I know its done.
Loads of schoolwork to do and a few little DIY jobs to get sorted.
Throw in dogwalking and some exercise and that's pretty much the day done.
Hope everyone has a good "day of rest"!0
