Evening all!
Thankfully its the weekend
Been for a nice walk with my friend and her son and my dog and popped back to her house for a quick drink afterwards.
Then had a nice bath and am looking forward to a flop on the sofa and a bit of telly.
Its only 2 weeks to the Equinox??
Lots of work on fabbing me up still to do .....
Will have a think about some short term plans and see if there's anything I can do that would be an instant overnight fab....:rotfl:0 -
Morning Fabbers!
Had a good sleep and feel much better for it.
Today's agenda includes dogwalking, maybe a little run, food shopping and the library, upstairs cleaning and laundry and then settling down to watch the rugby. Wales v Scotland today - a good chance of winning - come on Cymru!
Providing the weather is ok, I'm off on an organised dog walk with a new Meetup group tomorrow morning so will maybe try to do a bit of schoolwork today if there's time.
So a busy day ahead.....
Fabwise - going to do a bit of exercise, have a quick sunbed, and do a face scrub. Not a miracle overnight cure but short of botox, liposuction and a whole new wardrobe it will have to do!:)0 -
I've been up and out with the dog on his weekend walk in the grey mizzle - snow on the way apparently!
Planned today - finish off cleaning, make soup, washing then uni work while rugby is on - can't wait for that!
Not feeling too fab today -ankle still achy today and recovering and snotty after yet another interrupted night's sleep for some unkown reason.
Fabwise -what shall I do today? Hmmm, defuzz I think and usual skincare routinesfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Dog walked and Shred done - feel much better for it.:)
Sometimes you just don't want to exercise but I always feel like a different person afterwards - good old endorphins!0 -

Thank you - I will bear that in mind. Glad to hear that your surgery has been successful.
I think it is wonderful that surgery can do this, provide a life saving function. However I'm really not sure that such a drastic intervention would be appropriate for my husband. We'll just have to wait and see.
Anyway not much news - all I have done for the last couple of days is just the absolute basics. DS2 did some shopping because I wasn't up to it. I have spent the last few days just resting and falling asleep at just about every possible opportunity.
Going to watch Made in Dagenham in a bit and then more sleep......0 -
Good to hear that you're finally getting some rest LL. xx
I have finally decided to get back on the "diet" and exercise wagon - have been very lax lately. So its a weigh in tomorrow morning and back to cal counting on Myfitnesspal - going to give myself until I break up for Easter (3 working weeks) to see how far I can get. Done the Shred today, if its not pouring down tomorrow I'm going for a run. Been food shopping today so I have no excuse!
Strangely I'm not that hungry today.....maybe its just the right time to get a grip again? Mood is half the battle.0 -
Morning!
Off to visit mum today after I've made some buns to take - the cake was a disaster from the other day - too much rhubarb I think!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Happy Mothers Day to all of the mums amongst you.
Hope you get to take it easy and are spoilt rotten today.
Have weighed this morning and am not happy - 4 lbs heavier than my lowest weight. Not at all surprising really given the food eaten since Christmas and lack of lots of sweaty exercise. I've put on a lb in the last month - doesn't seem like a lot but its a slippery slope for me. So its back to the grindstone and myfitnesspal.
Been for a walk with the dog and will log cals. Going to go for a shortish run and do the Shred today for exercise and of course there'll be more dogwalking later (he's curled up in a ball snoring on the sofa at the moment).0 -

Good to hear DS looking after you. I'd advise a gentle stroll and some fresh air but think the weather's pretty grim up your way. I watched Made in Dagenham last night, too, and loved it. I had meant to catch it in the cinema. I just couldn't believe the attitudes to women in what seems fairly recent times. Not that all is perfect now but progress has been very rapid.
:Tfor keeping up with the 'weight-watching' ww. Like you I'm determined not to let it slip.
It's my birthday on Tuesday so determined to be looking my best so will be pulling out all the fabbing stops. I look younger, trimmer and a lot more stylish than I did a few birthdays ago. I KNOW that most of it is down to LL and other friends on this lovely thread for giving me the focus (and ideas) that I needed. Thanks.:A0 -
In case I forget Maman - HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Tuesday!
I'm sure you'll look utterly fabulous!
A suit I ordered from Next arrived this morning - tried it on and the trousers are lovely (size 10 too), a really nice cut and fit. I'm not 100% about the jacket, it seems a bit big to me but I'm not sure if thats the style. Will try it on again later to see what it looks like after a day of eating and drinking (things always look better first thing don't they?)
Shred done and the sun is trying to come out here so I'll take the dog out for about 45 mins after the rugby to stretch the legs a bit.
Like you Maman, I owe all of the improvements to me to the Fabbers - thank you ladies. xx0
