Evening all - loads of great weight "reduction", exercise, and house fabbing going on with you all!
Not as much here I'm afraid - been too busy with work - but thankfully the big meeting went well today, a big relief and I can breathe easier for a little while.

Will get back on the straight and narrow tomorrow - promise!

    Hi all

Well managed a week of fabbing and still going strong with nightly cleansing, toning and moisturising on my face and neck and moisturising my hands.

Weight reduction wise lost 4lb this week but first week in so not unexpected. Still managing to stay within my cals and cooking up some delicious meals from the Hairy bikers and also some magazine cut outs I have been squiriling away and managing to stick to the portion control so I now have some tasty low calorie meals in the freezers along with our normal meals.

I have also booked a haircut and restyle for Saturday which will be the first one I have had in ---- wait for it
22 months . Had it done just before our wedding and as my hair is long and curly I just haven't [STRIKE]bothered [/STRIKE]had the time since DS2 was born. I do colour it regularly and mum trims the fringe just no real styling.

Think I will also try and fit in a face mask this week as the cleansing etc bit is going well.

    Good morning ladies

I've had a good sleep, am up with the larks and raring to go, just enjoying my early morning coffee. The washing machine is whirring away. I love waking up early, being the first to be up and about, especially in the summer - but that's a way off yet.

Had a lovely visit with OH yesterday, it was warm and sunny, even though there was snow on the ground. I bundled him up in a blanket and wheeled him onto one of the outside patios where we sat and did a puzzle whilst soaking up a few rays. Hopefully a foretaste of what's round the corner.

I did another mega shop yesterday afternoon, so we are all stocked up now and I won't have to go food shopping for a while, other than fruit and veg and maybe the odd bargain if I spot one.;)

Today I shall be staying at home and will be unpacking the last few bits and pieces.

I shall be flinging with gay abandon.:rotfl:

Almost there now. It's starting to look and feel like home.

On Friday when it DS2's day off we'll get some artwork on the walls. I will also get him to bring some compost home to fill up the veg table and some of my pots. I have a load of tulip bulbs. It might be a bit late for planting them but if I don't they will turn to mush anyway so I may as well have a go.

It is a really sunny garden and there is a proper greenhouse. I also have a small portable one of my own so this year I'm going to really try and up the fruit, vegetable and herb growing.

Yesterday a few people mentioned that I'm looking tired, so definitely need to get to grips with the personal fabbing:o

I have been so busy that I have neglected myself a bit - can't remember when I last gave myself a facial and a serious pampering session. I did buy some Oilatum again, £9 - ouch.

In my unpacking I have found some nice fabric that I'd forgotten about - a lovely gold flowered silk which would make a nice evening coat and some sage green crepe - perhaps a nice wrap dress or some palazzo trousers.

    Anyway time to start flinging......

    Morning all,

his missus - hope you're feeling better now, I hate sleeping badly, it stuffs me up for the whole day :(

mine - well done on the weight and clutter reductions :j

Maisie - well done on the weight loss (oops, reduction!) I keep thinking I should treat myself a trip to hairdressers when I get a bit of spare cash - I usually just do it myself but it never looks quite as nice.

LL - I do wish sometimes I was a morning person, I'm just sat here wishing I was back in bed :rotfl:Having to get up earlier now as well, my usual bus normally gets me in about 5 to 9, Monday it got stuck in traffic and was 2 mins past when I got in so got a verbal warning and apparently if it happens 3 times I'm fired. *sighs* I think I need to start job hunting properly. So now I'm in about 25 to - though in principal am doing no proper work until at least 10 to! :rotfl:Have fun with the clutter flinging!

Anyways, had choir last night - was nice to be back, though the heating was broken in the hall and was absolutely freezing! We were all sat there in coats/scarves/gloves! Have been trying to be more organised, making my lunch the night before and putting my work clothes out so don't have to be running round in the morning. Am also keeping up with the cleansing, moisturising and eye cream at night - my skin does feel nicer, am not sure it actually looks all that much better but hopefully will get there :) Eating hasn't been too bad (though I was a bit naughty and had some chips last night, needed something quick to warm me up after freezing at choir!) but still need to get back on the exercise. OH is out for a while tonight so might take advantage of house to myself to get one of the dvds out.
Hope everyone has a good day x

    Morning all!

I have been sleeping better thannks, Pod. I've been going to bed wearing a jumper and gloves and have slept like a log (if logs do ndeed sleep) so I think I was waking up because I was cold, I do have a tendancy to have my arms hanging out of bed.

Finally got round to sorting my wardrobe last night. bagged up any clothes that were too big/unflattering and dumped in the CS bin at work this morning. Any clothes that are a touch too tight, I've folded up and put away and will try them again in a few months.

Cleared out my make-up bag and binned loads of old pallettes. Most of them just had the colours I didn't like left in them. Now down to 3 very new eye pallettes. Collected all the old applicators and will wash this weekend.

Put on 3lbs this week but it's almost TOM so I'm blaming that.

Hair appt booked for Saturday - fabulous here I come!

ETA: just bought a new winter coat in the sales with some xmas money. Mine was 2 sizes too big and made me look a bit of a tent. This new one actually makes me look like I have a waist (just) so I feel instantly slimmer :)

It's awful having to rely on buses isn't it PP.

    Happy flinging LL.

Congrats to those of you who've lost oops.. reduced your weight.:)

I've managed to reduce mine by 2 llbs - I've no idea how since my fast days haven't been as low in calories as they should be just lately and as DS2 became a teenager last weekend there's been lots of cake to eat. :o Tbh my clothes do feel a bit tighter than they were so not sure how I can have reduced but hey won't knock and am determined to keep at it and not put any back on - will step up the fast days from next week and count the calores properly again.

Still reading up on the business front. PP I did decided to go for both business ideas - have even thought of another one but unfortunately that one needs money I haven't got to get it off the ground maybe sometime in the future.
Have been meditating every day and am gradually adding fabbing as I go along, did a facemask and defuzz the other day and will do my nails later.

Keep warm and have a good day everyone.

Yup, they're so annoying. The other girl in the office has the same problem, this morning she'd printed out a timetable saying that the bus we caught was supposed to get here for 10 to and the one before it was 25 to and asked if I thought it was worth her going and speaking to the manager and saying how early she had to get up for the one before and could she please just stick with the normal one and on the rare ocassions it was a few mins late she would make the time up. I said try if you like but I must admit I don't fancy her chances :rotfl:I've been job hunting online this morning instead. Ideally I would like a job at around 30hrs as then I would have more time to work on the businesses and I wouldn't be on much different when you took into account tax credits and possibly getting a bit of HB. But any less then 30hrs and I lose my tax credits altogether so it's a bit of a fine line :(

Glad you've been looking into both the businesses - and more in the pipeline :) I think it can only be a good thing to diversify these days - I have loads of extra ideas for things. Some need money, some need more time/skills then I have at the moment - but it's all good to keep in mind for the future. Hope you can get something sorted soon x

Great news - keep those creative juices flowing - must be the meditation helping to free your mind.....Agree with Pod - it's a good idea to have more than one string to your bow, especially the current climate.

Well that's me done flinging for now. Got 3 bags the charity shop tomorrow the rest I will try and sell first. Anything I can't sell over the next few months will be flung before the next move. I'm not lugging that lot around again.

I still need to go through some more paperwork and then next week I'm going to tackle things like old photo albums etc. But for now my bedroom is as neat as a new pin. The downstairs is ok. There's just DS2's room and then the study/man room.

I've still got a batch of change of addresses to do:o -= some need to be done as a matter of urgency - ie money stuff. :rotfl: Will do those tonight.

Going to have a little rest, a quick flick with the hoover and duster, and then cook dinner.

I'm ready for a nice long rest. Any business plans, courses etc can jolly well wait. I'm having 3 months off before I even think about it.

Having said that I have booked for a seminar at the end of January. Well it is free. :rotfl: and I should be a little bit rested by then.

Sorry to hear about the travel difficulties. It's such a nuisance when that happens and sometimes bosses can be so intransigent over such matters.

It happened to me years ago, only one bus per hour so I had to go to work really early, leaving the house at 6.50 am. OK in the summer, not much fun in the winter.

Ah well time for a little nap.

The very last box has been emptied and contents dealt with, everywhere hoovered and dusted and looking ship shape.

    And breathe.....

Just that pesky paperwork now. A couple of evenings should see the back of that.

And then - time for me. :D

LL - a good job done! You can now take some time to settle in properly. Bet its a big relief that its over with.

Pod - hope you can come to some compromise with the bosses - the last thing you need in the morning is fretting over whether the bus will run on time.

Lizzie - great to hear you sound so positive! Good luck with the ventures.

    Its freezing here!
Walking the dog actually hurt it was so cold:o

Going to have a nice quiet evening - didn't bring any work home with me to do. So will have a nice bath and a scrub - I have a bit of a sore throat so a bit of a rest will hopefully see the bugs off.
