Finally coming to my senses.....

I have been paid my expenses, £288, I decided not to pay it off my cc yet because while I was waiting for this to be paid, I have another £100 in expenses that I need to claim. I used the cc for the expenses so now I owe £345 but I know that at the end of the month when I get paid I will be able to pay this off completely.
Once this is gone I'm going to only use the cc for expenses through work, that way I know that it will be paid off in full, this will also be separate to my normal account so it will be easier to keep track of my finances.0 -
I have just cancelled my 2nd mobile contract! I have to give 30 days notice therefore my final payment is next month, this means that I will have an extra £35 a month!0

I had my water bill come in this week & for once I was prepared for it, I thought it got issued every 6 months but I have just found out that it's issued yearly, therefore I only need to put £10 a month into a seperate account instead of £200

Isn't it great when a bill arrives and you know you've dealt with it. Keep plodding as a dear poster on here reminds me.:j0

Got paid today and guess what???
I HAVE PAID OFF MY CREDIT CARD!
I am so happy to have finally cleared this. Now I can start working on hammering down the OD. I am waiting for just over £100 in expenses to be paid to me.
Since I started debt busting I have paid off over £2,000 in just over 6 months. It has given me a massive boost but I know I still have a lot of hard work to do.
I am going to re-do my SOA in a couple of days to see how it has changed since I started.0 -
Managed to earn an extra £15 over the weekend, I will use this money for petrol this week and the money I would of used will go towards the overdraft.
OD -£3130.34 I hope by the end of the month I will be able to bring this below -£3100 & by payday it will be below £3000.0
