Most of the clothing is dispached from the warehouse bagged up and brand new.
However if your order is a long time coming beware as some items are sent from stores and have had every Tom and !!!!!! feeling it and trying it on.
These items are easy to spot apart from the poor packaging and dragged through a hedge appearance as they have reduced stickers on the labels.0 -
I ordered five items from their sale late Saturday evening. All delivered early pm yesterday. I use them a lot online and overall am very pleased with their service especially with free delivery.

I have ordered loads of stuff from Debenhams - mostly for myself, but some as presents.
Everything I have ordered I have received, and not been charged more than I should.
Also never had a problem on the rare occasion I have had to return anything ( to store in my case)
Delivery service is the best of them all in my opinion....
But, I think a lot of the delivery issues can be down to local agents or delivery staff who actually arrive at your door.
Maybe I am just lucky as I have never had a problem......
You just watch, I will get charged double for my next order, and it will arrived screwed up and soaking wet !:cool:0 -

My delivery issues have never been with the actual courier/s but with the dispatch of the items.
Over a year ago I ordered a dinner service as a gift, every item came individually packaged, and it came in something like eight big black bags (not an outer packing box to be seen) over something like ten days (again not a courier issue but constant emails over this time to say X dispatched - can't they get an order together and dispatched as one, is that too hard to do :think:).
Out of these packages not one bag contained totally what was on the invoice and some items that arrive with the last of the order were listed on the first invoice, then we get on to the broken items, the returns, the refunds and the the re-order wondering if you will ever get the whole amount or be left with an odd place setting configuration. Then how do you give as a gift what should have come in a few boxes but came in multiple plastic bags? :wall:

I have just tried to order 3 set of pans and 18 piece dinner set. Got all the way to checkout, entered payment details and once I submitted it stated they are experiencing technical difficulties. Went back and now out of stock!A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

:doh:Went outside this morning to find a parcel (left overnight by the courier:mad:) and the item inside is not mine!
I have a jumper for someone in Norfolk (different part of the country to me).
The outside of the parcel has both our addresses, how could that not have been picked up in the dispatch department???
The invoice is for this lady, so not only do I have her item, her order number, last four digits of her card and her address (that means someone has mine :mad:).
Had a hard time getting the customer service to understand I don't have my goods, courier shows my item as delivered (well they would wouldn't they :whistle:), initially told I would have to hang on another few days and ring again before they would refund, then when the penny dropped he raised a refund (to be approved by the supervisor tonight - it better be!) tried to arrange a courier to pick up the wrong item as there is not returns label but could not do it initially as my item (the one I haven't got) would not warrant a courier collection, left on hold for ages and managed to sort it so it will be next week when it is picked up!
What a farce, only wish the item had been okay to keep as the item I order was £9 and this is £36, but it is too large :rotfl:and not nice.
So of the four things ordered, received two, one apparently is OS and one AWOL/MIA.
One day I might just get a Debenhams order where all item are in stock and all are delivered promptly, together and as ordered :undecidedEverything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
