  • good to hear what MFi3 folks are up to.

i'm now registered to pay tax on ebay, so am upping the selling and money-making stakes now.

i am close to my original target of £80,675 (25k) and hope to be below 80k by october and below 70k at the end of the challenge.

for some reason, it still seems like a long way to go after that?!
but i would like it to be paid off within another 3 years.

the thing is, i know that without this challenge i would not be in the position i am in now:D

I know how you feel FSM! I need to have another look at all of my accounts but know that I'm a way off where I need to be.
3 years is a realy long slog when you get into it but I reckon that the support we get from this forum helps the time fly by.
I can't believe that it's been nearly 4 years since we started overpaying and I dread to think how it's going to be for the next nearly 4 years! Oh well, I'll be seeing you all around before the next update, bye guys!

  • Hey everyone,

to follow on from above! We will not meet the challenge now what with me losing my job a while ago and then becoming ill and having a full hysterectomy!! However, we have paid off more than we would have without the challenge and plan to keep just plodding on.
:( Struggling too much wears a body out

  • Hi SFG, sorry to hear about your job loss and illness but at least your mortgage is less now than it would have been. Do you think you will continue the challenge when this one finishes?
