Well done DD. Not long before you can cross out some more heh!
Hmm, figures, I always give the present reading. So this will be including my payment for January. I do pay it on the 29th of the previous month though and interest is added on the last day of the month it just takes a few days for my snowball to catch up.
I shall go and pm Tall girl now.

I think a big well done is in order. Keep the updates coming I have 7 members who have not updated since March 2008 so they will have to be taken off. Also 8 who have not updated since June 08.

That is a MIND BOGGLING amount of money. Well done us!!!!:T

I appear to be one that hasn't updated since March 08. I thought I had. I must be going loonie.
PM was sent a few weeks ago with new update :)

    Hiya everyone
I've pm-ed tall girl and now i'm reporting in here. We're down to £92003 rom £110000 and can't quite believe it. We've carried on paying the same amount even though the rates have gone down and it's dropping fast. Once i've paid off this 0% card it'll drop even faster as we're going to try and overpay an extra £500 a month off it unless there are any emergencies. This thread is fabulous! Thanks for everyone who set it up / posts etc xx

    £90834.74 :(

Hoped to have it under £90k for start of 2009 but fate conspiring against us. Hubby changed jobs (and is self employed) and i am unable to work due to illness so on IB.

Its a Halifax repayment mortgage and we pay £630 per month. Any suggestions of what i should aim for for Jan 2010 and how to get there?

    Ta, Tiddleboo ♥

    Hello Everyone,

Have just Pd'd Tall Girl with our new figure of just over £127k. Feel stupidly chuffed to be below £130k, although clearly shedloads still to pay off.

Our figs are going to go back up again quite significantly in the next few months as we are about to have a lot of building work done. Still, at least the house should be much nicer...

Take care everyone, onwards and downwards!

I checked my 2yr regular saver account yesterday - for some reason I had it in my head that it matured next month, but in fact it's this month - next Friday. On the minus side it'll mean I don't have any savings earning a decent interest rate any more, but on the plus side it'll give me £7k (including the interest I've calculated will be due on the day it matures) to put into my mortgage account. As I'm on the SVR I can pay it all in at once, so will be doing it the following week as soon as my ordinary payment has gone out - and it'll knock my balance down below £40k :j :j It'll also reduce my monthly payments but that just means more money available for OPs.
