  • Oh perfect timing - will pm it to you when i update the total.

    Thanks again

  • As my 100% settlement missed the last update, I have updated TG so the chart reflects it now.

Britannia didn't send me a final statement (meanies! ) so all I have as consolation is the update on my Experian file that went on today, so I thought I would share it with you all:

Well done angela when our mortgage was paid off I didn't get a final statement either. When I challenged them about it they said that they don't issue them and I wouldn't get the annual statement either as the mortgage was paid off! I was livid with them and demanded a statement showing that it had been paid off so that I had the proof. They sent me a copy of all the statements from day 1 to the day it was paid off. Good job I demanded it as there were charges on there which should not have been, another phone call and I got those refunded.

Of course I will stick around - I quite miss not having the challenge and haven't yet found a replacement for my energies (although no problem with finding a replacement pot for the cash)!!!

Am saving up to build up a financial cushion, we had a fab holiday in Mauritius with the change from the mortgage, bought a lovely fridge freezer which I would never had dreamt of buying before, have nagged husband incessantly about stashing money into savings (he is terrible - a real fritterer given half a chance), I did allow him to buy a Wii as a present for himself tho'!!

Personally, I vote that you should take them off the list - 9 months is a long time (a quarter of the overall target time) without an update.

    Go angela!
I've not made any overpayments for a while. Has anyone else has a period of time when they had so much to pay on other things there was no money left for overpayments? It's like that now and then I look at my balance not going down and it depresses me.

However I am now Dr cupid_s :j ! Go me!!!!!!
