Well, now that you've outed yourself, I'll stick my head above the parapet and do the same! I was also featured in the same story. Nice to know I was in good MSE company!0

Yes, that's me - the one standing next to the very photogenic tree in the picture!
I think I may already have added myself to the Roll of Honour, but I'd best go and check...0 -
On an overpayment note was looking for advice here - my curent fixed rate of 4.74% ends in 18 months. I am not a high rate taxpayer - does it make more sense to save up this money until the end of the 18 months in an ISA as far as possible, rather than pay a chunk off this January?
CheersNo longer an accidental landlord, still a wannabe millionaire:beer:

As you should be able to get a high rate of interest in an ISA at the moment than you are paying on your mortgage, you could be better off. Why not use the overpayment calculator and compare with Martin's new ISA saver (beta) calculator??Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Well, if we're all 'outing' ourselves on the Telegraph article, I happen to be Alasdair McKenzie on the same article!
(not really, just joking).
Jill, you live just three stops away from me on the train (if you were travelling towards Manchester), how spooky is that? Hebden Bridge is lovely by the way, I go mountain biking around there quite often.
How exciting was it to see our challenge in print! Well done Angie!Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

I'm a keen mountain biker too (I tell everyone I moved here for the bikes and not the dykes, if you get my drift)
You'll have to say hello next time you see me out and about on one of the bike trails, although I don't travel everywhere with my tree for company, so may be difficult to recognise!0
