Is it too late to join?

I genuinely was on a mission to repay in 3 years anyway, but would really like the support (and cheerleading team! ) that come with this post! (Martin, we need a cheerleading smilie!)

Current situation - mortgage owing approx £36,000, currently paying £1200 a month on 6.5%. It's an old-style flexible mortgage so I can draw down from it for essentials (I have NO savings to speak of!) as well as pay in.

Last month I made an extra £800 payment, so I would have contributed to the overall success of this thread if

    - I had found it earlier
    - I had been allowed in (so pretty please can I join now?) :D

I've been trying to get a moving avatar but whenever I try to save any it just saves them as a picture. Does anyone know how to save it so it stays animated?

    Signature updated for this month

have tried Alt and 156,no joy! but thanks for the tip. Also when I press the hash key I get a backslash. When I hit the @ button I get inverted commas and vice versa - the keyboard has always been like this- if only my real life pounds were worth the double the dollars on here.

I do hate to hijack a thread though, so...

this month our outstanding balance is at £27770.97 DR which has actually gone up from $27640.49 DR :o because we have added on the $399 fees for remortgage,-not a good move I know, but we know we have employee shares coming out in August that will pay it all off-we are in the middle of saving up for summer holiday spending money at the moment otherwise we would have paid it outright.

p.s. Dithering Dad....Regarding your rule number three....my moustache isn't that noticable, and I do trim it regularly....:rotfl:
