You know what they say; either put up or shut up. Nothing you come up with will be impressive enough to alter my opinion, but please feel free to try. It's an open forum after all.
It certainly is an open forum which means: you don't get to make the rules. If you're happy to be a Fiat owner then more power to your elbow. Me - I wouldn't give them houseroom. (or garage room). :cool:0 -
You obviously love your Fiats Tilt but my experience of Fiat built cars is great engines but below average build quality and driver comfort and very dodgy electronics.0

Apart from the issues mentioned in my post (#26), I have not experienced any problems with any of those. As I said, my current Punto HGT still runs like new, no rattles, vibrations or 'dodgy electronics'.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. The least reliable supermini according to which? magazine in todays weekly email is the Fiat Punto 99-06).
Most reliable was the Honda Jazz (2008 onwards).Nice to save.0 -
Better off sticking with what you've got, the cost of upgrading is going to burn well beyond the money saved on fuel. You'd probably have to keep the new car for at least 4 years to see any benefit at all.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I don't give a toss what these 'surveys' say. I am speaking from EXPERIENCE. And as such, my Punto HGT disproves the Which Magazine's findings as far as I am concerned.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You cannot be objective with a sample of one. I was living in America when Fiat pulled the plug & left after they lost a class action suit for prematue rusting.
I did own a Fiat Spyder 124 which looked great, was great to drive but needed monthly mecanical attention to keep it going.Nice to save.0 -

I'm on my 6th Citroen, a lot of people avoid Citroens like the plague but I think I've been very lucky. My current car is a 2012 C1, my work journey is 2.3 miles each way and a 17 mile school run twice a day. I always return over 60mpg and loose about £500/year in value.
My last C1 2006/56 model just past its MOT with only one number plate bulb needed, my next door neighbour is well pleased with it. Normally I wouldn't sell my old car to anyone I knew, just in case but , they insisted that they wanted it as they knew how well I looked after it. The 2012 C1 is zero £ to tax as well. Obviously it's a small car and drives like a go-kart but its fun to drive.
The best thing I only paid £6350 for the car, it was only 6 weeks old and had done only 460 miles-good old e-bay!0
