Judi re telling your friend why you left – can you say something like staying a member of the church was no longer the right path for you? :oGood luck – hopefully she'll be understanding.
Ive decided against telling her. It would be like gossipping wouldnt it? She left the church for different reasons to me. Mainly because she couldnt handle the commitment whereas i left for a different reason.
Theres nothing to be gained by gossip but i wouldnt hesitate in telling her if it meant she would learn from my mistake but since she no longer is in membership there would be nothing to be gained.
Happy birthday BargainBird. I hope you have a lovely day. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Today we have been to the Builders Merchant for a new cowl for the chimney, long story won't bore you with it, but it was less than a tender
Had a natter with friends/neighbours not seen for a while, put the decorations boxes back in the loft, so now can get in the spare/room office to tidy it.
:o:cool::o
Tea last night was Ham Bagette after bagging a 10p Bagette as A$da was closing last night with a few chips, followed by a reduced 34p for 4 puff pastry mince pie and cream. What diet you may ask!! Without shopping for Xmas my freezers are at bursting point, so not much shopping only the specials for DS & F, and some meat for Xmas dinner, will get to Ald! nearer the weekend.
Thawed in the fridge is a chicken breast, a couple of Pork Loin steaks, and a YS pack of Sausages, so teas today and tomorrow will involve those, also have fresh Cauli, carrots, Parsnips, peppers & potatoes, and other frozen veg. Anyone with any ideas, remembering hot & spicy are not us.
((Hugs)),Spoons, positive Vibes & High-5 's all round. Take care all DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club

Jools - thinking of you and your family.
Tired Mum - Hugs.
Just back from the vet as one of my piggies is off her food. I always fear the worst but she has an abscess in her mouth. She is now back home and tucking into cold cucumber with relish x
Horrid day again. Black dog is biting my leg off at the moment. I was turned down again for my operation. Sorry - it is nothing in the scheme of things and I must not be self indulgent particularly when there is such evil in the world and fellow posters are going through such a hard time. My thoughts are with you and a candle is burning it's way through the darkness xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Well got nothing done fast again today. Went to aldi from the school run. Then onto my sisters. Then when I got home did a few householdy things, wrapped some parcels. Then it was time to go. Went via the post office but couldn't get parked.
Did the school runs. Then couldn't get parked at the post office on the way back as the high school parents were parked there. So will g tomorrow now.
All the food this week is from stores. Need space for the Christmas food. S my aldi shop was quite cheap this morning.
Oh, I have a terrible memory. I can't remember what anyo e else said. Gah, sorry, I don't wish to be rude. It's like I'm not replying.
In future I shall sit and read with a note pad! Plus I've never got the hang of multi quote!
Right, will go and prep some food and have a clean up. Downstairs is on the flylady list today.
Love, hugs and spoons

Popped back and was so sad to read about Jools DH and the poster whose mum has had breast cancer. Best wishes both of you for a rapid and thorough recovery. Molly don't you dare apologise! It is not "nothing in the scheme of things", it's a major problem in your life, and I could quite happily kick the decision makers in the fundament it I thought it'd do any good. You're always there with a word of encouragement for others when we need one; let us return the favour when you need it. *slips BD a biscuit laced with sedative* I'm glad the piggie is eating, even if it's just cucumber. I'll light a candle for you, my friend.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Bargainbird, happy birthday :bdaycake:. Hope you enjoy your tea.
TiredMum, sorry to hear about your Mum. Lots of healing vibes for you all.
Jools, thinking of you all and lots of healing vibes sent your way.
Molly, hugs for you.
I won a tin of sweets on the draw at work, so thats something i haven't got to buy now. The coooked piece of lamb i had given to me was so tender. We have just finished it with lots of veggies.
When dd and hubby have gone to work in a little while i am going to sort through my cupboard and try to organize it a little bit.
Another load in the wm. It will go on the airer when it is finished.
I hope everyone has a good rest of the day/evening and hugs to those who need them.
