    Morning

    My downward spiral continues :( Have not had a good week with drink or food. 2lb weight gain. Almost didn't post until tomorrow but am determined not to slip into old ways. Have been back with the programme for the past two days but have not shifted all the gain yet. I need to keep the faith and hope am reporting better things next Sunday.


    On a brighter note it is payday in 18 hours so have taken the liberty of updating my signature to account for the £618 that will be paid at midnight. I reckon the last 6 months will go slowly to being debt free. I need to keep reflecting on what has been achieved. Am looking forward to increased financial freedom though. :)

    Sunday again


    2lb weight loss for me this week. Slowly getting back on track. I have been fairly static in that 2lbs on and off for seven weeks now. That said there has been socialising, xmas, winter and a very busy month away with work. All in all am pleased I haven't gone backwards too far. Have 1-2 last very busy weeks and then normality resumes and so want to step up exercising again. I have a long weekend away in May and an anniversary in June. Want to loose at least a stone and half by then but would be even better if it is two and half.

    Well done - looks like you are getting back into it. Well I maintained last week but actually lost 1.5 this week so hopefully I am getting back on track too! I really want to lose at least another 2 stones this year and I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.

    Still very tight money wise but have had so many expenses and at least not really gone backwards.

    What exercise do you do HH?

    Well done. I had a bad day yesterday; stayed away from carbs but over indulged and feel decidedly sluggish for it. Back to concentrated efforts. 2.5 stone more will suit me. Come on we can do it.


    I normally swim but has been almost non existent. I have a huge work deadline that completes next week so planning on tackling the exercise then.


    Sorry things are still tight. Are you paying interest on your debts? How much are you throwing at it each month?

    Swam yesterday and hoping to go today. Aiming for 3 times a week minimum. No weight loss this week.

    Well I stayed the same last week but I am feeling much more positive this week.... probably helped by having a stinky cold and little appetite... although probably consumed my body weight in cough sweets. Time will tell on Wednesday's weigh in ;)

    Well done with the swimming. I quite enjoy swimming once I get there but it always such an effort to go, so good on you for going. It is the best exercise for me as less impact on knees etc.

    Moneywise, we are really at the stage of 'getting through the month'. We make (and always have made) all minimum payments plus pay an extra £40 or so on top of on of them. I always hope to pay more but life keeps throwing things at us, as it does :) I have about £800 on catalogues which as soon as those are paid, some drops off in 6 months, some in 11 then this will free up some extra cash. I did apply for a cc this weekend with low rate for life (so I could balance transfer), but got rejected. Not that surprised as so heavily committed and failed on debt-wage ratio I imagine. Will keep plodding onwards!

    Have a good week - will aim to stay on track for Weds... would love a weight loss this week!

    Well not the loss I was looking for ... 0.5lb but hey in the right direction. Slowly and surely ;-)

    Not helping me that my daughter has developed a thing for baking this week. I hate waste and it smells divine...

    No loss for me but no gain either! Didn't swim in the week, must address in the week ahead.
