    Hi there,

You can change between tariffs each month if you wish (though the change will take place on your next billing date). There won't be any issue with you requesting a change to one of the new account types once they're released.

    Hope that helps,

    Regards,

You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Thanks for that, Matt.

Sadly, however, I'm being suckered in a bit by your excellent promotional work - and have come across your 76Mb broadband...I tried to find if I had coverage in my area, but it just said I was already with plusnet and to login to see what options I have...

In the list of available packages I have Plusnet Extra Fibre - so does that mean that I have the 76mb option available?

    Hi,

If it's offered then you should be able to order it, yes. To be sure though it's worth checking your phone number in http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome - if the results page gives you a speed estimate for Fibre then you can definitely order it :)

    Cheers,

    Thanks again, Matt.

One last question - I tried adding this to my account, along with the phone (to save the connection charge) - but it doesn't give me the option to pay up front for the phone (and thus reduce the monthly cost) - is this possible?

It's only possible once the phone has been added to the account. You can add it as soon as that's happened, so while you'll pay for the first month's line rental you'll then get the next 12 months prepaid.

If you're interested in one of the Unlimited products you'd have to wait until tomorrow to request the change though, otherwise it'll be to one of the products we sell currently.

    Hope that helps explain,

    Regards,

    Great, thanks.

I'd missed that the new unlimited tariffs apply to fibre too. So now I just need to hope the Mrs doesn't talk me out of it overnight ;)

Ouch! Anything I can help with?

    Best regards,

    Bob.

Considering that you guys have been giving me the runaround more than Mike Read in the eighties for months, can't answer one simple question as regards to my account and have the audacity to state that "your broadband isn't ever going to be very good is it?" then probably not.

I am stuck in the contract until February and would love to leave now without the extortionate charge of over one hundred quid. So if you want to help then by all means try to do so, but be aware that I'm thoroughly sick and tired of your company.

Sorry to hear that. I'll have a quick look over your account when things are a bit quieter (I can see you've no open support tickets at the moment). Forgive me for not jumping straight to it but things are a tad busy at the moment following this morning's product launch! :j

Thanks for the concern but I have been told that I cannot leave on numerous occasions without penalty after many, many issues from your side. Unless your company's unhelpful attitude changes I shall keep simply keep being unhappy with Plusnet and spreading the word of my numerous issues in my role as a broadband champion.

For example, in September it took ten or fifteen tweets to get your CEOs email address which is simply unacceptable.

New product launch or not, I'd like a call to resolve my issues from your side. This is entirely your decision.

    ooh some tame plusnet reps
    hello
we work from home a lot and need a high upload speed (web developer and designer) as well as download speed (BBC i-Player, netflix, blinkbox, lovefilm instants, and online gamer teen) that isn't throttled.
we are in a market 1 area and are due for BT fibre by end of this month (yeah right! we are out in the sticks so will believe this when it happens)
question 1 We are Plusnet customers already (it's a lot of money, £25+/month I think, something like a homeworker tarriff) but could we switch to the unlimited broadband package?
question 2 - we don't need a router as we already have one that works fine on the plusnet package we have is that OK?
question 3 - do we have to pay the activation fee (£25.00) if we are already customers of yours?
    TIA
