  • Nope. But see above post. Some things are blindingly obvious.

Yes it would be blindingly obvious to those who have experience in these kind of things.
New members like myself come here to seek advice from senior members like you who devote a considrable ammount of time on this site to try and help out novices like me and the op.
I would not know how to check a site and that would be the case for most people who shop online.

Boots are probably made from dogs.

You haven't a clue whether this is the case or not, so nothing is blindingly obvious!

So why are you giving the OP a hard time, this is a consumer rights forum, there are plenty of other forums where you have your say.

Hence the tips previously posted and my initial softly softly approach before OP found something "funny".

Jog on. Op has had the advice. And it is blindingly obvious these are not real goods!

I know what forum it is.

I really am not having a go at you. Honestly!

Just frustrated that, year after year, this is a horrific situation which is not being addressed.

So why are on a witch hunt?

Not. If you actually look at earlier posts, you will see that I (like others) am frustrated by the "fake uggs", "fake headphones", "fake Nike" threads and am keen to do something about it.

hence the suggestion of something being done. May be better to support that - if you agree - than having a pop at me!

I can appreciate that you are against animal and child slavery and I agree that the problem needs to be addressed.
Maybe websites selling such items should be shut down and then people like myself would not be in this situation.

Since you know how to spot a fake site why don't you ask the powers that be if you could have a sticky.
You could do a daily check on sites and then inform us what sites we should avoid.
That is one way you could show the world that you are serious about doing something about these fake sites.
