How much does it cost then?
I won't be engaging in a discussion on this thread about how much a regular donation to charity should be - - that is an entirely different subject.
I just object that people would bag a fiver at the expense of charities like Wateraid etc.0 -
innovate, you're not being very charitable yourself in hoping others won't get their entitlement..0

Perhaps do your homework before you accuse me about not being charitable, particularly in the context of DDs for the Halifax fivers.0 -

£1 a month (x3) DD to Santander e-Savings 5

Given that you appear to have done zero research into my specific DD contribution to this thread, I choose to believe that you have done zero research into the cost of DDs, either.0 -

Money spent on chocolate isn't a waste! Chocolate is a necessity. Remember there are two kinds of problems people face in life: those that are solved by going for a long run and those that are solved by eating chocolate. Many of us come to moneysavingexpert.com so that we can save money so that we can afford to keep ourselves in good quality chocolate.0 -

What more research do I need to see?
A 50p DD to a charity allows it to receive at the very least 20p a month - that's is new money every single month that they wouldn't otherwise get..what's your problem with that?0 -

We live in France and all our direct debits are in euros to French companies so we cannot set up any of those with Halifax. .....What a bunch of money grabbing bankers.:mad:0
