Tesco allow multiple accounts, I have 2 set up. one from each of my extra Rewards.

    .
Yes I know about the Tesco account allowing multiple DD's to be set up. I used Tesco for the LloydsTSB account. But I sort of noticed that when I set up a DD from one LLoyds account that it seemed to remove the DD I had set up on another of my Lloyds accounts. It took a bit of time to settle but I never quite understood what I'd done wrong there.

Nope. Just 1 single DD allowed on the old Egg account.
I've set up 3 DDs on my old Egg Savings account on the YBS website...one to each of my 3 (secondary) Reward accounts.

All are showing online at Halifax.

Right then I think I'll have a go at doing that from my Egg account on the Yorkshire BS site.

How did you do that, please? I even called them, they said I can only do one? Can you provide me with an idiot's guide, please?
When I set up my YBS Internet Saver I could add the details of all 6 of my reward accounts but cant see how you can set up a regular 'pull'.

An idiots guide would also be useful.

Right, I've sorted it out now. I have two Halifax Rewards so have managed to set-up two DD's from Tesco and thanks to YorkshireBoy I've managed to set-up two DD's from Yorkshire Building Society's Eggs accounts. They are showing on both Yorkshire BS and Tesco Banks sites as being ok. It may take a few days for them to show on HBOS's site I guess.

Now I have to open accounts with Tesco for Mum, sister and friend as there are a further 7 HBOS Reward Accounts to sort out between them!

I got a letter about this today. It states "...designed for customers who who use it as their main bank account. By main bank account, we mean an account that you pay money into each month, like your salary..."

Do you think Halifax will be happy with a transfer from another account - £750 which hardly hits the sides of the account before being whisked away again? Or are they wanting regular BACS payments from employers and/or DWP?

I think that it will continue to be ok to simply sweep £750 through the accounts as we have been doing.

Can anyone say with any certainty which of the Post Office Accounts will allow for multiple DD's?

"Designed for" is different to "requiring".

Thanks. I think the letter seems stricter than their online blurb.
