i burned a large pillar almost every night from xmas to easter, when it finally ran out there wasn't a trace of wax left, just a perfectly clean glass jar!
I've tried Woodwick and they do smell good. At first, the crackling was nice, but then we kept thinking it was raining outside if the TV went quiet!!!!!
I have just ordered my first Village Candle after hearing their praise on here for a good price so we'll see how that burns and smells and will probably buy more as they were a good price.
I think one of the best things about YC is that they do so many fragrances and are constantly bringing out new ones, so I know I 'll never stop buying them while they continue to tempt me with new smells, oh dear what am I like?!0 -
Which Village scent did you buy deely?
You don't need to trim the wicks, if a mushroom appears at the top of the wick, just pick it off.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -

I ordered chocolate brownie as I'm a sweetie fan. If I Like it, I fancy the cinnamon bun one next. On ebay the large ones are under £15 including post so not bad price.0 -

My chocolate brownie village candle was waiting for me after work today and I lit it straight away (no self control!!) and it is lovely! The smell is strong and very life like so I am now a convert and already looking at some other fragrances to order next. The ones on ebay are less than £15 including postage and this one cost me £14.75 but it cost them £3.80 to post so how do they sell them so cheap?0 -
I'm definitely going to try the village candles0
