I would back the above up after you successfully dealt with ours last year!0

I thought this was all over and NRAM won the case with regards to the loans over 25k?
Is this not the case?
Have people successfully claimed against this?
If you are successful, do get your loan wiped or just the interest?0 -

Has anybody been able to contact HC successfully since receiving their letters? I'm loathe to sign the form of authority without knowing fully what fees they may charge, especially as when it was touted as "no win, no fee"?0

Although, I could be wrong!0 -
I haven't sent my forms back yet. One of the solicitors called me back the day before the letters went out. She had originally told me that I could take my file to another solicitor at no cost. She then informed me that they have exercised a lien on the file so depending on what your CFA says, HC will be entitled to 35% (in my case) of the settlement. The new solicitor will want about the same, leaving us with pretty much sweet FA. Absolutely fuming!!!!0

But if HC didn't win the case for you (because they no longer exist) how can they be entitled to anything?
I'm so done with this!!0 -

They are entitled to recover a % their costs if the case wins.
I was on a 0% costs CFA, which they claimed was a typo. They got me to sign a back dated CFA for 35% promising they would do all they could to close my claim before the shut. Said they were in a good bargaining position. I was plainly misled and absolutely furious !!!
Wonder what the legality is on getting someone to sign back dated paperwork???0 -

You signed it. Legally it counts the same as it would if you'd signed it on the date stated on the document.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0 -
