http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumetiquette.phpDon't feed the trolls : Sadly the web has a habit of throwing up a very small but vocal number of trolls, people who are nasty or contrary just to get a rise out of you. If someone's doing this, simply don't reply, just report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com. If you get involved and fling mud back, you risk being barred from using the forum too.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Mud slinging is not going to help in any way and will have no influence on the outcome. Wise words from Fermi, ignore the trolls and any associated rudeness, replying to them only provides them with the kick and reaction that they seek and enjoy!0

As a former 'together' customer I do believe the product was awful especially for relatively modest mortgages. However a number of people myself included have managed to move on, (albeit it was a struggle at times) helped by the house price growth in London/South East.
It feels like Northern Rock/NRAM have just been caught out on a technicality and what should be happening in addition to the court case is a full review of sale suitability for those still with the product or who have struggled in the past and more comprehensive redress given in these situations.
I don't understand why there are so many miss selling reviews taking place but there isn't one on the together product.0 -
When I first found a thread on here about Nram together customers, I was relieved that we were not the only ones. Struggling to pay the mortgage on our current home, whilst my hubbies one bed flat purchased in 2005 sits empty. I typed a quick post looking for advice. A few days later, 3 posts all terribly negative basically implying we were complete morons and deserved everything we got ! I didn't reply again, was shocked at others responses and how resentful they sounded.
When I found this new thread specifically for those affected, I was chuffed. No more smug, rude commented ! But oh no, we were followed. Even though the title of the thread is very clear, they still make comments !!! Wonder if they do work for Nram ?
You should set up your own thread - `How you do not believe we deserve redress` and post till your heart is content. We dont want to hear your opinions !
Mob mentality ... seriously ?!?0 -
