£2.74 on fruit today. I didn't get it on Friday as Ald* Super 6 changed today and I thought it might have been fruit as it seems to have been veg and salad for a while now. However, so much for my cunning plan it was more veg! Never mind we love butternut squash soup so we'll get that put on the menu for next week :D

    Oh dear...
Another £9-79 spent today in Aldi ,
As my Xmas stocks run lower I have noticed I'm spending a bit more,
But still within budget , and still really thinking about how I used to fritter money away!
Planted all the daff bulbs in garden, something to look forward to !

Just an update from me. I spent a small 89p in Mr.s and £7.03 in Mr.t of which £1.62 was YS products. Ive got £5.73 to last me until Friday which is the last day of my 4 weekly shop. I hoping to reduce my 4 weekly spend to £68 from the 18th january. I had empty cupboards and freezer after xmas this month so i shouldnt need so much next month. This month i was budgeting about £18 per week, so next month i will drop it by a £1 a week to £17 per week. Im only buying reduced products which are healthy though.
  • had to venture out to Mr M's even tho I'm less than well :(

  • Jeez, just updated my weekend spends... leaving me £12.37!! Payday is actually 31st ... oh dear oh dear!! That said, cupboards, freezers and fruit bowl still rammed!!!

Had a random urge at 6.30 last night to go on a YS mission ... which cost me £9.25 lol. Got loads though, was hoping for 5p veggies but got 5p sausage meatballs instead ... more for the freezer!

Made bread today, very nice indeed, an 87p mix made 6 rolls (enough for with soup) and a small loaf

It's amazing how much it all adds up, these little spends but this challenge has definitely opened my eyes on my lapsy-daisy spending in the SM!!!

I went to Waitrose today and I found myself taking things off shelves and putting them back again.:rotfl:

So I mostly kept to things I needed apart from an offer I could not resist.

I went round with the hand held scanner and after an unexpectedly long queue found I had to have my food rescanned. I've just checked my receipt and found that I'm 10p up as the assistant didn't scan my long life bag which I had done.

However I missed my bus and the next was in 51 minutes so I went to Costa for a hot chocolate. Luckily I had points on my Costa card or I would have been rather miffed.

There were reduced sandwiches for 0.49 and 0.25 and I resisted those too as I have so much bread at home.

Total spent so far this month - £33.84
