I use the baby as an excuse for the oven too lol, mine also 6months.

Just waiting for DH to get home as am straving and am trying to wait for him but I can smell the chilli, been in SC since lunch so should be good!

tracy - are you me??? This freaked me a bit. I've got a 6 month old too and we had chilli from the slow cooker tonight as well. Plus my DH was late home and I was starving waiting for him. Strange.

Anyway, after a good start things went a bit wrong for me.

Sister popped in for chat and tea and DS was being v needy today. After a flying (ahem!) start it kinda ground to a halt. Plus I had to puree for DS so all the worktop cleaning etc had to be redone. Was really hoping to get to the oven but didn't get there. However, might give it 10 mins before I go to bed. In fact I think I will....

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
Clean floors - this will have to get done later in the week....:(
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE] - done but with black worktops I find myself wiping them about fifteen times a day!
[STRIKE]Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required[/STRIKE] - window sills done
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)[/STRIKE] -
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Clean microwave
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky [/STRIKE]- drawer is already pretty clean
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week - have been avoiding this one. It's manky..... I would LOVE to manage this today
    Declutter mission task
27 fling boogie, grab a bag and clear that clutter!- try to do the drawer

    Other list
    [STRIKE]Put away shopping when it's delivered[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put dinner in the slow cooker[/STRIKE]
Do at least one washing - in machine to go on delay in the morning
[STRIKE]Clean oven trays from last night[/STRIKE]

!!!!KICK!!!!, SLAP, BANG, NO PUB IF YOU DON'T DO YOUR WORK PIGPEN!!! remember the grim things you found in DS1's room - it will end up worse than that if you don't do something tomorrow

well i'm playing 'ketch-up' again, although not as badly as in some weeks. Here's my master plan. Will see how it goes upon news from the hospital.

    Tuesday 24/4:
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Dusting and cobweb removal (if you want to dust round things that is fine)
    Level 2
    Vacuum floor and sofas
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags
    Level 3
    Clean window
    Wipe light switches and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors etc
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Declutter mission task
Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes
    Deal with post
    Make baby bottles
    Pack baby bag
    Dress trial for sisters wedding
Visit parents to see how I can be useful
    Feed cat antibiotics - am
    Feed cat antibiotics - pm

also could do with emptying baby purees from freezer trays into bags, and then make some fruit and veggie purees, but i'll see how i go. (In slight trouble cos i broke one of the drawers in the freezer tonight. I leant the two trays of purees on the front, and it just snapped. Dh says he will superglue it, but i think it is pretty poopered. Please can i have a new super fridge-freezer like lil-me? Doubt it.)

Anyway, DH is just cleaning the grill pan, then it is bed.

Tartan mum -glad to see another mum to a 6 month baby, Was saying to traceyg that we should share puree recipes/tips as i am looking for new ideas to try, although i will start a new thread for that i think. Might even do that tomorrow. :D

tick glad to see you found us ok. Your list looks 'good enough' to me. Good luck to the rest of you all.

Right, off to remove all the strips of paper i have stuck to the cuts on my legs from shaving them, then hop into bed. Will probably check in tomorrow before i go out, but i plan to get the SC on 1st. Feel free to kick me back pigpen otherwise :rotfl:

    Hi all,

Well finely got the mop bucket out. Cleaned floors :D Problem was, it was teeeing it down outside and I keep my bucket in the shed. Yes you've guessed it, had to take the bucket to the shed and had to walk back, all over my nice clean floor! It gets worse. I had forgotten to take the sweeping brush too and had to do the whole thing again. _pale_ By this time I was semi motivated to do that little extra to add in my post, but got carried away. Without doing any more of today's task's I started on tomorrows  I emptied the top of the wardrobe (=sorting one cupboard), but still have to properly sort the bits and pieces from it. Then my eyes fell on the ironing pile which has been quietly growing in the corner for some time  (and bugging me). I have emptied the basket and hung it all up. Well it might not have been according to plan, but I am happy and grateful for the encouragement from this thread, without which, I know I would have wasted another day. :D

    Final list

    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clean floors [/STRIKE]
    Declutter mission task
[STRIKE]27 fling boogie, grab a bag and clear that clutter![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear ironing basket and hang it all up[/STRIKE]

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Declutter mission task
[STRIKE]Sort one cupboard even if it's just for 10 minutes [/STRIKE]

Ok, not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but small steps.

I have read most of the posts today, phew!

Mermaid, I can only assume with your plans for the garden tomorrow, that your weather is much nicer than ours!

    Night all.

michelle - plans are for end of Jan wedding so 9 month engagement. plenty as far as we're concerned!!!

unsurprisingly, not got any flying done today, only half emptied the car boot. had a meal out with the other weight watchers helpers tonight and apart from that my feet haven't touched the ground. it feels funny being so far from OH now, after being away together and all the excitement, but that's life i guess!!
