Hello lovelies, sorry I've been AWOL the baby had a cold and now I've got the cold
OH is on the verge of getting it too, I fear this is the first of many and gone are the days where pregnancy stopped me getting them
booo.
I've managed a few outings, particularly enjoying the weather at the moment. I've been putting on OH's waterproof and trotting up and down the high street in the rain for various different things, mostly cake from Gr3ggs
Trying not to spend too much money, although bought the little one a bouncy chair the other day so I can actually put her down. She loves to sit in it and watch us, so it was definitely worth itDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Aww sorry you've all had colds, cake definitely helps
. We're also fans of bouncy chairs for babies :T great investments if you can put baby down for a little while to do things. We got a jumperoo too (second hand) as baby sat up a little more and they loved that too and they sell on for a good amount too

So babies take up all your time, who knew!
Finally getting some time to come back on here sparingly when/if she sleeps.
We're currently speaking to a mortgage advisor about whether we can get a mortgage for house buying...ooooh!
Finances: I'm giving myself £20 a week as spending money and sticking to it so far, but this is the 2nd week.
Baby is growing quickly ! Still not sleeping through the night, but then she's only 9w old and breastfed so I wouldn't expect her to. Really enjoying being her mumCats also seem to like her, Chloe will look at the baby then look at me as if to say "you going to sort her out?" when Izzie cries

At NCT we were told that if the baby sleeps for 5hrs straight, then she's technically sleeping through the night! So technically Izzie is now sleeping through the night...I would prefer 8hrs to 5hrs but nevermind.
Mortgage Advisor has found a lender and submitting an approval in principle. Crossing everything as we're having to go to a non-high street lender, the rates are slightly higher but more points of a % than whole numbers and hopefully still under the 6%. If we can get a 3yr fixed then when the defaults drop we'll be able to get a good deal
Brizzled - I've heard the weather isn't warming up just yet. I need to work out how mine are pollinating, I seem to get the odd chilli on our plant but loads of flowers. Wish I knew what breed it was.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Fab news! DO you have a deposit sorted out now then? We're aiming for 20-25% as we've been told we won't get a mortgage approved otherwise! Our defaults hit the 3 year mark in September so that's when we will be looking to get a mortgage approved as we're well aware we will soon be priced out
