Morning, morning, morning! My sister was a complete cow to me all weekend, refused to talk to me like I had personally done something extremely bad to her. All I had done was not go down on Friday when I was super tired and instead went on Saturday. I think she's taking her anger with him out on me, seeing how they seem to be all happy, happy again. Oh well her loss as Mum and I went out both Saturday and Sunday baby shopping
we had a really lovely weekend and I really enjoyed spending some time with my Mum and not being made to ferry my sister and her brood all around the place. It would have been nice to see my nephews for more than just 5 minutes, but pfft nevermind. My oldest nephew was really upset after my sister and Mum had a slanging match about sister being in a mood/causing an atmosphere and her storming out the house, he really didn't want to go home bless him.
I filled the boot and back of my car full of baby clothes and I need to work through those this week, sorting into piles of age groups, and then packing the ones that are too big up into the roof space. OH is in complete shock with how much I've brought back with me, but it's all money we don't have to spend. I showed him the 6 vests and 4 sleepsuits I had bought yesterday and told him they cost £50 new. I then looked at the piles of clothes we have in bags from my sister and said "that's £100's of £'s we don't have to spend". He sighed and told me I needed to sort it outI shall add a box a day to my flylady tasklist.
Gosh it's 11am, I best have a quick shower and rush up to the post office before the man from Dell arrives to fix my laptop. So far this morning I've packaged up the fleabay orders from the weekend, all two of them (one is left to pay so won't package that yet). Upgraded my laptop O/S as been meaning to do that for agggessss. Oh and spoken to the doctor, he's written me a prescription I need to go and pick up later. Urm and that's it so farOnwards...

So...it would appear my sister is very annoyed with me for taking on the clothes...no surprise there considering I hid them in my car so she wouldn't see. She's in a right foul mood with me at the moment anyway, so I'm screening her calls until she calms down. I'm going to sort through all the baby clothes and work out what I want from each. She's decided that she now wants to make me pay for her second-hand clothes, which I think is out of order as she would expect them for free from me. Anyway, I shall find a list of clothes that children need, a sensible one, and then give everything else back. I didn't want all of it anyway, it's a ridiculous amount of clothes for one person.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I can't believe that
I'd give my sister everything free and not expect a penny (in fact I have done many times for both sisters!) I think she's just taking her bad mood out on you and I'd also screen the calls until she apologised! Hope you're ok xx

Well I've just had a fake apology text from my sister, which basically was a lure to get me to call her. So I stupidly called her and she kicked off at me for taking on the baby things. Apparently some of it I wasn't meant to take like the breast pump and steriliser...does she not realise I'm going to be a mother that will need these things, she seems to think someone else will give her money for them instead. Well after talking with the OH last night I hung up on her (not very mature I know but I'm not having her being abusive on the phone), I then sent her a message letting her know I shall be returning all of the clothes and baby things. OH has said with the inheritance money we can buy all the things we need for baby without needing to buy it (*scoff* I'm still really hurt that she expects me to pay for it from her!!!) from my sister. I've then deleted without reading the reply she sent me back as it will just be venomous and spiteful. In hypnobirthing last night we were told about how the negative things in our lives affect baby, we did an exercise that made us "be the baby" and assess what the baby must be thinking of the world she's being brought into. I'm trying to remain as calm and stress-free about all of this as I can today.
So...need to look up flylady tasks for today and I also have placed a bid on some baby girls clothes. I think OH and I are going to have to go to the N3xt sale at Christmas and buy all the lovely bits for our little one. I know I'll be ridiculously pregnant then, but if we can buy for the first year there we'll have such lovely clothes. Plus we don't need to go mad as we can just wash clothes if they get dirty afterallDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I have a wedding to go to on Saturday, they want money but we can't really afford to just giveaway cash and I always think it's such a naff present. So I've come up with a homemade list of goodies to make them instead, I hope OH thinks it's ok. I've ordered loads of jars and things so we can make them for people for xmas hampers which we already agreed to do anyway
- pickled onions
- onion marmalade
- apple chutney (fruit free)
- garlic infused oil
- chilli infused oil
- blackberry & apple jam (fruit free)
- lemoncurd
- crackers wrapped in cellophane
- shortbread
I'm not sure that there is anything I can make straight away as we don't have any jars to put it in. Although I might go and see if I can rearrange some tupperwareDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Another update from me, sorry! Bit of a rant.Just called up to speak to my Mum but she decided to put my Dad on the phone instead, apparently my sister has apologised(?!?!?!) it was apparently one of the messages I deleted, hardly an apology if she's only sent it as a text message...not really meaningful is it. Then my Dad goes ahead and tells me I was really sneaky for taking on the baby things in their attic that I had already said I was going to be taking on way before she started her strop. Ended the conversation with him telling me I was being completely unreasonable, so I told him he was the one not listening to me and siding with her. I then hung-up. I hate hanging up on people, but he was being completely unreasonable. Oh and apparently I HAVE to go down for my sisters birthday as I can't spoil HER birthday yet it was completely acceptable for her to cancel going baby shopping on my birthday because she was in yet another strop. Stuff them, stuff the lot of them. Have spent half an hour crying and then OH called so we've ordered pizza.
Oh, his probation has been extended by another 2 months it should have been extended by 3 months originally so he's employed for another 2 months yaythey've also said it's rare to find someone that can do the job and gets on well with the team so sounds like they'll keep him after the probation. TBH 3 months always did seem a little short for a probation.
PPS have just found our dream wedding location, I shall inform OH when he gets in. This will no doubt be greeted by the usual "but I don't want to get married" *sigh* It's a lovely little princess castle in Cardiff called Castell Coch, we went there and swung on a rope swing for one of our very first dates and I absolutely love how pretty it is, it's £650 to hire for a ceremony (no idea what normal prices are) and you have to have the reception elsewhere but I reckon a big buffet/cold menu in a village hall would be lush especially if there's a green for children to run around on. Besides, he's promised we'll get married so I can dream now can't I
End rant
ETA: spoke to OH about the castle as a wedding venue, he didn't say noall he said was "I'm not getting involved in the planning"
I realise he still has to ask me, but I'm pretty sure if I go ahead and plan it all, save up the pennies, and then book it that he'll turn up on the day. He might even buy me that ring sometime between now and then.

So today I am fully engrossed in my little dream world. I've planned:- £224 wedding ceremony in Y4te registry office
- £900 hall hire for reception from Friday night through to 1pm Sunday including contract cleaners, full use of kitchen, piano, table & chairs, cutlery
- £? p1eminster pies, can't find a price on the internet for this thoughbut pie, mash, peas & gravy for the main. Starter of homemade canapes & champagne, dessert of homemade mini cheesecake pots, mousse pots, mini trifles (super duper easy). Evening large cheeseboard (buy cheese in France beforehand along with booze), breads, homemade chutneys
So that's probably about £2000 spent then....I should go do some work or at least get dressed
