Should Cameron Bottle The TV Election Debates 2015? Clegg & Miliband Seem Up For It

Just saw that William Hill have 11/8 that the TV election leader debates will happen at the 2015 General Election but also 8/15 none takes place.
Ed Miliband looked very happy earlier, trying to speak seriously about the coalition refloating, but couldnt seem to keep a smile off his face... I wonder why? All will be revealed tomorrow.. (and it wasnt just the The Two Ronseals!) Important new poll tomorrow....0 -

Miliband:the great debater?
Thought I'd heard it all...
I'm no Milliband lover but the impression I get when I watch debates or even PMQs is that Cameron often goes for the man and not the question.
I've normally found that when your opponent leaves the debate or question topic and resorts to sniping of a personal nature it's usually a fairly good sign that you've beaten them. Happens quite a lot a PMQs.
Cameron is too uncontrolled.
"We are raising more money for the rich," - a Freudian slip perhaps, from Cameron?

I'm surprised it was left in the text of Hansard.0 -

Fortunately I don't have a hero - at least not in mainstream politics - I don't think I could vote for one of the three main parties if you paid me. Which is why I rarely comment on any thread about politics.
They're all as bad as each other and each of the three leaders have (IMHO) few redeeming qualities - unfortunately David Cameron comes across as about as endearing or honest as a snake oil salesman.
Nick Clegg has about as much credibility (now) as Coco the Clown.
Ed Milliband I can barely bear to listen to.
So I won't be voting for anyone of their parties anytime soon - or indeed in 2015.
In the past each one the parties has had my vote - but never again.
I don't think David Cameron is a good debater (he loses his rag too easily) - in fact in a real debate I think Ed Milliband would beat him - as would Nick Clegg.0 -

Sorry- my post was for DecentLivingWage who appears to think that Ed Milliband is some sort of hero of the working man, who's going to personally usher in a new golden age, despite being a posh boy with a multi-million pound house who's never had a real job- just like the other leaders.
I agree that Cameron is often poor at PMQ, and is least likely to benefit from an election debate. Clegg did well last time because he had least to lose, and came across as affable and reasonable. A 2015 debate isn't an open goal for Milliband; he has a personality problem due to being a strange mix of a charmless geek with a ruthless streak capable of stabbing his brother in the back. We are not living in a great age of politicians. They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

I can only access a persons character mainly by his mannerisms rather than by his education attainments which many seem to abuse once the ascend the ladder of success, I listen to their delivery and I can say that there is so much bitterness with many politicians not having decency to admit their faults.
There are many occasions that you have to be firm and strong in what you say but when you are found to be toxic, thats the time to change your makeup.0 -
According to the Evening Standard, Dave is a bit frit when it comes to facing good old Nige from Ukip in a TV Election debate! Farage said Cameron should think twice about booking any air time lol !
Cameron has said that they shouldnt invite ukip as not of parties likely to form government - others think poll ratings are what count? What say you forumites?
