How do they decide which parties should take part in the TV debates?
I know last time it was relatively easy given that Conservative, Labour and Lib Dem could easily be describe as the three main parties. This time though there is some doubt if you go by recent polls whether or not the Lib Dems are the third most popular. I would personally like to hear Ed Milliband answer for Labour's mismanagement of the country and economy.
I think the idea is that they should all answer for their past behaviour.
But if the story is true that Cameron is frit, I really wonder what he can be afraid of.........Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
I think he'd love a showdown between him & Miliband. He eats Miliband for breakfast in PMQS.
The problem is that with Clegg there as well he'd be in the impossible position of having to defend against both the opposition and the (supposed) partner. Could easily be a disaster.

Would not tune in to watch or vote for any of them same old party politics with all three they get voted in and do...Well! nothing
as a business man i see no change in the economy still flat-lining and Europe in trouble. People And mostly business are riding a triple dip recession saving on employment costs and joining teams to save on costs within big business while small business struggle to expand on a global and also in the UK cutting costs keeping staff ect,
Yet the Government now keep chasing stupid policy and Pr stunts to make them look out of touch,
Sorry until either Lab Or con Show a boom or a way forward in there think tank and get the economy working, I myself wont entertain at all at the voting process because like "Al Capone" said you can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone
Politicians in this country are weak, look at big businesses to help create work which never materialises, Training screams which are a waste of taxpayer money and don't work hence huge employment growing and get in the way of things.

Cameron is right to be frit because Ed Miliband has a fearsome reputation as a speaker and debater! Also, the things he will challenge Cowardy Custard Cameron on have no answer (he has already admitted failure and that economy will show little sign of progress or growth before 2018 - would you want to fight a debate on that premise?)
Also, Cameron is a thin media spiv ,trained to know when he's losing media-wise. Hehas ben advised not to do it as Ed Miliband owns the stage, memorises huge warm original speeches in a relaxed word perfect and confident way. Most important though, Ed enjoys the stage, roams round it enjoying the arena. Cameron, however, is awkward and self conscious, preferring to sit down (al a bbc QT) or at the very least have a lectern to grab onto! And a drink to sip nervously!
He is dishonestly saying there is lots of time ,not having to decide yet etc - actually the negotiations with sky etc are happening as we speak, er I mean write! :cool:0 -

Okay not a big post here but i had a brainstorm for a good show for all three of theminvolved
instead of boring tv rubbbish of them blabbing on about how they would fix the country(lies blah blah blah)
Call the show plebswop...(excuse the name what they call us normal voters so political humour is not my fort^e)
take away there ability to go to the house of commons, There bank cards and Mp expenses and ability to get any money at all to live place em in a naff run down council estate somewhere,
Put them on JSA for 6 months during the show and a really naff council estate full of the worst people with police leg bands trackers so they cant leave the vicinity
One who survives in a rough high crime area on the dole for 6 months which they administration brought in with drunk yobs and violence rife would get my vote

I do remember though that everyone thought Cameron would be the clear winner in the last tv debates, yet Nick Clegg wiped the floor with him. Cameron is suppose to have a PR background but he often seems wrong footed when put on the spot with a question. These traits are often a sign of someone who cannot control his true views, attitudes and values. could be his younger initiative showing weakness in perspiration at challenging Cam-moron Kinda like the Big bully at the play ground in some schools gripping the little kid who will be meeting the tooth fairy in more ways then one present moment if he does not hand over his pocket money ect
