Is it possible for you to be traced who you are from posting on here?

Why would I care? How is this relevant? What business is it of yours?

    Re: Getmoreforless:

OMG some people are downright horrible !

I asked for some advice, not to be judged by sad people with nothing better to do.

I have said before about people who drag up old threads, it is bullying in its lowest form, completely unecessary and downright nasty.

I should feel sorry for those posters really, they obviously have nothing better to do !

I presume that you are one of the people that presumes that because someone has their own business that they are 'rolling in it'
  • You asked, and have received advice. If you dont want to be judged by the online community, pay for some confidential advice, don't post on a public forum website.
  • I think it got deleted.

Possibly because of posters such as yourself :)

Ones who 'think' they know something about someone because of a couple of posts in the internet.

Our apprentice, whilst we had problems with him at the start, has now grown into a very good member of staff (not of the business I am talking about on this thread, our other one, not that it is any of your business)

Why are you on this thread? are you just here to give snide comments?

Again, I do not see the relevance of digging up old threads. Maybe you do, but I dont see the point, apart from to bully someone :)

To try and get you to get some procedures in place. You accuse me of bullying but I didn't post links to your threads. Thanks anyway.

It's not hard. Go to the ACAS website and copy and paste them into a word document.

We are starting up a new company and we've even got procedures in place already - and we have no staff yet. We've got risk assessments for the site, the people and the tasks we will be carrying out.

As soon as you become a manager or boss, you have a duty of care and you just don't seem able to grasp that concept, even after being told year on year to sort the basics out.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

I don't recall any of your previous threads, nor do I intend to go looking for them.

What is obvious however is that you are completely ignoring the excellent advice you have been given here, for free, by two highly experienced lawyers (and me come to that)!

Having spent half a lifetime working with my professional association I have seen, repeatedly, the mistakes made by small businesses.

All I can suggest is that you read, understand and follow the advice you have been given.

If you don't you may get away with it in this particular instance but sooner or later it will cost you dearly!

    I'm out.

Again, non of your business, but I have been ill for around 18 months, our employees are lucky that I have managed to keep our businesses ticking over really.

I asked a question on here because in the past I have found the information very useful. Recently though there have been a handful of people who seem to take great pleasure in digging up previous issues, which have no relevance IMO.

I now have someone saying they would like to trace me through my posts, you came on here with the obvious intention of stirring things and now there are links to previous threads, which are all perfectly normal threads IMO.

I am glad that you are doing such a great job in your business. Well done. Lets hope that nothing ever gets in your way of being such a brilliant business owner and employer.

Think its time for me to start looking for a more friendly site to post any queries that I may have.

Sorry but I am completely lost now !!

Where have I ignored anything??? I have read and taken in the (very useful) advice given, its not me who has turned the thread into a witch-hunt !

ETA: have just re-read everything I have posted and I cannot see anywhere that says I am ignoring any of the advice given, I dont understand how you have come to this conclusion ?

    Neither do I.

    Which is why I didn't.

And didn't mention it in my post.
