Provident have offered another Loan. Not sure how much yet she will speak to me Thursday. I'm very tempted to take it and pay off as much of the payday loans as I can. I know the interest is high on provident but not as much much as keep rolling loans over. A bit unsure yet though.POAMAYC #67 in 2013 £6304.93/£6000

Also need to meal plan. Do food shop I really want to try and do this month on £100. Not sure I will because with 2 kids still in nappies all the time and one at night time it takes up a big chunk of the spends for nappies/wipes/baby formula

mmmm difficult one - I'd generally never advise taking on more debt to clear other debts but PDLs and the astronomical interest ......
I guess the only way to look at it is to add up how much you owe in PDLs and how long it's going to take to clear them and then weigh that up with the loan and how much that's going to cost BUT most of all - can you afford the loan without having to resort to more PDLs?

not sure if you've an Al*di but there nappies are apparently great & really cheap - might even be worth going once a month & stocking up if it's a bit further away.
See your sig .... where you've got the % paid off and then the

It works out a lot cheaper getting the loan it doesn't cover all but most of the payday loans. I will never take a payday loan again, they were only taken to clear off some money a friend needed before he did originally due to some problem he had I've never had a payday loan before.rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »not sure if you've an Al*di but there nappies are apparently great & really cheap - might even be worth going once a month & stocking up if it's a bit further away.

They are just so not worth it - maybe the 1st one but after that when you have to pay it back & are therefore down the interest payment before you even start on the next months wages ... so you need another to make that up .... been there ... I would rather eat plain toast for a fortnight or porridge with water for a month than ever take one again .....Want-To-Fit-In wrote: »Oh I will have a look in Aldi when I go shopping it's not too far away

Great
I did look (nosey - no kids
) and seemed reasonable (just under £5 for 48 pack from memory but can't remember what size this was) .... people rave about them on the grocery challenge!Want-To-Fit-In wrote: »Good point maybe I should change that in my sig

To-do List
- Grocery shop
[STRIKE] - Phone hospital and confirm treatment times[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] - Phone doctors for appointment and meds[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] - Prescription *Must not forget or I WILL run out*[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] - Call nursery for DS1 [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] - Call for school applications for DS1 [/STRIKE]
- Call over council tax and rent to sort new payments
- Call tax credits to update income details (I overestimated by 8000£
)
[STRIKE] - Book kids injections [/STRIKE]
- Try to organize at least one room in the house
Okay that will keep me busy. I need to try to leave the house more. I suffer really bad with depression/anxiety and its got to the point I don't leave the house other than appointments I need to go to. This in turn is driving the kids stir crazy which then drives me crazy. I need to leave the house for some fresh air at least once a day. I have no excuse there's lots of free fun things to do with the little ones so I need to change.POAMAYC #67 in 2013 £6304.93/£6000

Much as I hate the provvie, at least they won't add exorbitant charges on should you be late with a payment.0
