Ahhhhhhhh - yup! Those are the ones you need to pay special attention to then! At least you do know that you're "guilty" of doing it which is great!Want-To-Fit-In wrote: »I need to start thinking about my Xmas shopping too. I'm really tempted to tell family we really can't afford it. We don't see them etc and to be honest I could do without buying another 18/20 gifts
mmmmm that's a lot!
Make a(nother!) list of everyone and then do some serious looking through it.
Who are they all - immediate family (parents / siblings with kids / siblings without kids / kids etc - and see whether it's possible to cut down at all - sorry but that's a lot to be buying for (and presume that's not everyone & you've already bought some of them?)Want-To-Fit-In wrote: »Hospital for treatment

Ahhhhh seems to be far too many of us having these pesky hospital appts just now
- hope everything goes OK.
As for the coffee ..... personally, I feel it's an essential (for me anyway - I seriously need it when I get there - it's a booger of a place to get too and takes ages .....) but I can get carried away sometimes:o
I now set myself a £5 limit for an all day visit like today or £2 for a routine appt (covers a coffee & I take some biccies with me) ... there are some deserved needs in life!;)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I left my purse and money at home today so I had no choice not to get anything

There all mum/dad/in-laws and then siblings and one nephew, but I don't buy my mum already she knows our situation. My dad passed away. and my sister just gets something handmade from the kids. So I find it hard to justify the expense on 20 gifts for people I've seen about 5 times in 7 years of being together. I really think I'm going to avoid them other than homemade gifts of the gifts and something for my nephew.

That's the same, I'm lucky the district nurse comes with anti-sickness etc, because the hospital I need to visit is a good hour journey each way so coffee is usually bought (needed
) I might start taking some juice with me will think about that. POAMAYC #67 in 2013 £6304.93/£6000

Treatments well under way leaving me feeling pretty rough/half bald and generally not up to much. Also the news of and op when its finished. I should think myself lucky it's not the worst diagnosis and my treatments actually having a positive affect. Although right now its hard to think that way.POAMAYC #67 in 2013 £6304.93/£6000
