For all you expats https://www.expatsvoice.org is a great forum site, loads f info. Geared mainly towards the USA the guys who run it are campaigning heavily for changes to the laws. Really friendly and a great sourc of info.This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

I wanted to go to florida too Ob, but the visa requirements were too much for us. We could invest in a business, we would start up another business where ever we go, but the level of investment was too much of a risk in a new country when we haven't tested the market over there. Actually we wanted to go to Nashville but florida is warmer and there aren't as many sound companies there.
Anyway, we've opted for Canada because OH is canadian so the visa thing is pretty painless for me once we're married.:A

Hi guys,
How do-able is this?
We are looking to sell our house and move to Cyprus next year. H doesn't know of debts, so I would like to carry on paying them from abroad. I've got a DMP - Payplan helped, but I sort it all out myself.
Obviously, if we are going to sell up and move, we will be ebaying like crazy and I will be trying to get my debts down in as many ways as possible - new life new start etc.
Is it do-able - to move away but still pay my debts?
