Ours is a distant dream but a dream non the less!! Hope to reduce the mortgage considerably first and like others OH doesn't have the actual paper qualifications for the skilled work he does!! Athough I do believe that you can override that with experience!!

We are off on November 19th..........grand tour of europe in motohome first for one, two, who knows how many years, then settle down somewhere......

Sppokily enough, my original plan was a boat (wide-beam barge), but looked a bit limited when I checked out European waterways - quite good in the north, but south and east - forget it.

Our original plan was houseboat in Netherlands, hence "houseboatdream". Then decided on the "Grand Tour" first. Haven't given up hope on the houseboat though depends where we decide to settle.
