Turkey, one day.

This isn't an imminent move but it's where we'd like to retire to one day. We used to have a holiday home there and for various reasons we sold it but hope to own another place one day with a view to moving there.

Nope, wasn't me. My ex-hubbie was Turkish... but the less said about Turkish men in general the better :rotfl: I'm now happily married to an Aussie and living on the sunshine coast in Aus.

I thought you meant Country Club, didnt realise that you meant another country. I would lurve to live in Oz. But you know, living abroad is not all it is cracked up to be. People in each of their own countries become insular and naturally take it for granted. And I am fiercely patriotic and Ive lived in Belgium for a few years and seen many parts of the world and let me tell you, the UK is probably the best country in the world to live in. Our quality of life, services, NHS, roads, train network are almost second to none, mind you we pay for it! I think we are not too far away from another major world conflict when we have to count our chickens and indeed all of our chickens will come home to roost. "England's green and pleasant land". Not ranting Rich - honestly. Can I still be a member?
