TNC Parking Services

I'm posting this on behalf of the mother in law. She had a parking notice from TNC Parking Services for parking in asda Newport.
She was going to pay it but, having myself followed advice from here last year, I told her to ignore it and not contact them at all.
She's now had a letter threatening her with legal action. I again told her to ignore it.
So, my question is, does the advice I followed last year still stand?
Thanks.

Any more questions.Be happy...;)0 -
Yes it does.
Tell her to write to both the asda manager at the store, and also asda head office to express her disgust and using such companies and to let the, know she will no longer be giving them her business, the more people let the business' know how they feel and vote with their feet the sooner they will start taking notice.0 -
Now that's the sort of speedy response I've come to expect from here.
Another quickie, I did a search for that company on this forum but nothing came up. Are they new or are they an existing company using another business name?0 -
Are you sure it's not TCP (Town and City Parking), as they seem to be infesting many other ASDA sites? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Bingo. The top of the letter shows the logo TNC but further down it does actually say Town and City Parking Ltd.
Sorry:o.
Another search beckons.0 -

They were formerly known as Homeguard.
They are debt collectors.
See here.
They issue fake tickets like the rest of the PPC scam brigade.Got a ticket from ParkingEye? Seek advice by clicking here: Private Parking forum on MoneySavingExpert.:j0 -

Please create your own unique thread below, general advice is to ignore roxburghe, they are powerless and can not enforce anything. And what parking ticket are youi paying? Please reply in a new thread - thanks

You are actually PAYING ONE??? Why?!
Please start your own thread and wise up! Concerned you didn't come back, do you not realise these fake PCNs are a scam? Own new thread please or just Google Roxburghe and read about them on any thread results. They clearly have you marked as a MUG as you actually agreed to pay them money or the last one. Oh dear.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
