There was somebody on here who was to try buying a tesco finest turkey using the finest coupons:)

Thank you for this. I was wondering about that (Tesco Finest Bronze Frozen Turkey 3.6Kg - 5.0Kg) but the ones in my local this evening were all about 4kg, even if I was able to use two of the mocs to bring the price down to £16. I'm not sure the Finest are necessarily better, either, but maybe I'm just cynical. I'm now looking at ASDA's turkey but the website isn't too clear on the price so I may dash out in the morning to have a look. I seem to be able to get a 5.2 kg turkey for £16 there. I've two APGs for £8 so I may just use those and resist the temptation to buy more chocs!

Anyway enough of my griping. On the plus side I got 3 good Apgs today however one of them was over £20.00 !! eeek
  • rose28454 - you have no idea how your situation fills me full of fear. When my elderly mum was poorly there was always friction between family members. If my mum had known (she had dementia) she would have been horrified - she worked tirelessly for her family all her life and yet quite a few of them were selfish to the core whenever they were needed. I take little or nothing to do with them since she passed - myself and one sister were the only two who rarely cared. I hope that you can find the strength to seek help for her before the whole situation goes capoot.

  • Yes - A vTs. Didn't want to risk buying anything that wouldn't throw it elsewhere hence the neverending mice button flump chant......:rotfl:
Are you shortening the well known chant by any chance? Shouldn't it be the neverending mice, button, flump, tangfastic, sp batter mix, sp noodles, sp custard, sp scourers, WW meal chant!!;);)

    Ending with a final 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 chorus.:rotfl:

I hope that was supposed to be really! Was that your 'Holywood' sister you often refer to?
