I promise you this- that if I lived nearby I would help you :A because that is huge pressure.

Thanks. Just taken a diazepan and off to bed. Tried to talk to my younger brother but he is not really interested. Called to tell my Mum I was rebooking morning help and her and my sister started screaming at me again.
So decision made someone else can take over. I was a self employed bookkeeper before so I am going to start up again in New Year, maybe get some agency work aswell. I will aslo look at trying for a full time job as I saw a good one advertised last week and although I dont have any accountancy qualifications I have over 12 years experience.
  • Evening luvlies, been busy getting things done, like most of us it seems. Just logged on to say a few words.

Splodge12, so pleased your DH has had a good result, as people have said, you can relax and enjoy Christmas now. I know what it's like not knowing, we've been through 'the waiting game' this year ourselves. All good now thankfully.

Mad, what a lovely song - just donated, thank you for sharing it with us.

Rose, I really feel for you. Although your mum doesn't have a SW, if things get too much over Christmas your local authority, Adult Services, should have an number which you can call.

Please don't try to cope alone, they are there to help both your mum and the family.

Remember to look after yourself. Good luck xx
