Can I take it that you like vodka, SFSB? Is that in preference to whiskey?:p
Do you recall the recent Reloaded deal and how fab it really was? One voucher per product, "buy" 10 in T for £1.85 each using 10 vouchers, total cost was £18.50, balance paid was zero. PP compared to the special offer price of £1.00 in A, meaning that you got a PP for £8.50, i.e. T paid you 85p per can for taking it away and drinking it!! Oh, how I miss those Reloaded days..:D0 -
I am trying to decide where to buy my frozen turkey. Any ideas about where the best deal is likely to be please?0

I'm so sorry, Rose. Can you all sleep on it and see if people have calmed down in the morning? And if your aunt doesn't change her mind, perhaps your sister could go to your brother and your Mum could either go with her or go to your family for Christmas? Would it work if you stayed very calm and just said you were going to be with your own family for Christmas day and they can decide what they want to do? I shall be thinking of you this evening...
And I agree that you must re-book the carer and tell your Mum that she must take advantage of all the help she can get so that you can use your time to the best of your ability. If you can get a job, it will give you a better perspective -- but don't totally exhaust yourself even more. It sounds as if you need a real break.
Unfortunately my Aunt is very stubborn and I know she wont stay. And if it was me I woulod probably have done the same. You cant stay where someone has been so rude to you. However although my sister has her leg in a special boot she has just come back from 3 weeks in South America where she broke her ankle after 4 days and still carried on her (mostly walking) holiday. She did not fly straight home as she did not want to let her friend down. Comendable I suppose but really stupid with a broken ankle. So they will both go to my brothers for Xmas day now and although I usually invite most of the family round for Boxing Day as my oh, dd ds and partners and my other sister and her husband are coming for Xmas Day I figured we might just have a quiet boxing day on our own instead. However my sis had a pop at me tonight about that aswell as she obviously thought I should have invited her, Mum and Aunt to mine aswell. I did not as my house is quite small, my Aunt is a heavy smoker and also I am with Mum every day as it is.
Really fed up now so I think I may go and look for a tranquillizer or sleeping pill in the cupboard as I wont sleep either tonight if I dont take something.0 -
