I must agree with point 10 though - I :heart2: !!!!!! Van Dyke. Diagnosis Murder is trashy daytime TV at its best!

Sadly I think I've seen all the Diagnosis Murder episodes & Father Dowling

Well I've had a fun day

Most importantly everyone is unhurt but some idiot got drunk, stole a car, crashed into a taxi, reversed into my car (with me and 19 month old daughter on board) whilst attempting to drive away then did a runner whilst we all waited at the roadside for the police

I would have physically detained him (if not for fear of assault charges) or pursued him (if not for the fact my daughter was in the car)

I wonder how the insurance claim will go on this one considering the other car was reported stolen. Anyone any experience of that?

How awful. Glad you and your daughter are ok.

The trail of the joy cards goes on. I have tried 9 shops today. All £3 cards. I think someone got the wrong end of the stick in preston whsmiths as they had taken all the card out of most of the ones I looked at. I can see this being in plastic from now on when freebies are involved. :(

Oh I am so stupid! I bought 2 of the Finest Rump which came to £50, but then I realised they didn't have the Half Price Sticker on, so went back and got the only Half Price one on the shelf which was silverside, and it came up as half price, and brought back the rump and got my money back. I never thought of checking the shelf price. I might go back tomorrow

You are not stupid. :o i wasn't sure when i did it this morning. Definitely worth a look tomorrow. Just check the shelf labels first. There were quite a few shelf labels for all the different cuts. The only thing I didn't do today that I would definitely do next time is go with cs to check the label so they can't remove it. Hth :)
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

She did say they were in a different place but cause I was getting my Mums dinner aswell and I was running late I declined to go with her to look. However I am going out to put Mum to bed later so will pop in and look. I will take some pics aswell and add them to my letter. The label on the product said exactly the same thing but apparently had a different barcode and the £4.99 one looked like it had a browner rind. I am also a bit annoyed as the 2nd lady had a bad attitude towards me.
They are actually taking a hammering in my local as a new Morrisons opened nearby a week ago and they are a bit short of customers. I will report back.

This is the one on offer
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=268880284

And this is the one I think I got
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=265306734

However the wrong one said the same as the right one on the label.
unfortunately the sel if incorrect at the time, will be correct now.

    Hiya

The was no sticker on them just the half price on the shelf label showing £5.98. The beef packet was priced at £11.96 per kg. I paid and the went to cs just saying I was confused as the shelf label said half price and I assumed it would have come off at the checkout and it was only after that I realised it had not. Cs checked and came back with manager and approved with no problem. Even an apology :rotfl:

Did the one you got have the correct half price per kg on the packet?
its nice when a plan comes together.:)
how many elete have been in my position.
1st acting dumb when expecting the till to half the price;)
2nd then proceeding to tell them their policy when trying to get them to give us it for free:p
